I would priobably run several tests and make a back up copy because I have another project I'm working on so I make it a point to back up my work more than once and keep your least glitched up version. But be cxareful as you can get a "Bad Rom Header" As I did at least once training on a Super Mario 3 Type Hack. So watch yourself there.
You might want to look up what a header actually does.

In most cases, when a editor/emulator barf about header errors, you can usually fix them easily yourself.

From what I've heard, Acmlm code seems to be buggy by nature--it does not surprise me if, say, more things break over time, and attempts to add features cause errors too.
That's the case with AB 1.x not AB 2.x. Not saying that 2.x is bug free but... 2.x is definitely way more cleaner codewise. And it seems to run faster, not that I compared.

From the sounds of it, .sic/.qic contains metadata about the packed files. All I wonder though is how it was lost in the first place. You could try to reverse-engineer a such file and construct a such file manually.

A good level is lagom, seriously that probably was the biggest mistake I made in my little hack. I made the first level big as possible, bigger than it actually needed to be. When you have to use a custom time because the preset times are way too little, there's something wrong.

Challange is good, but frustration is not. Savestates should not be a requirement to beat the level.

Also, as a rule of thumb with levels... the levels themself are usually way easier for the guy who designed it than a random guy that tests it. What might seem to be a easy series of jumps might be insane for someone else.

Well, it's one of my favourite things to have on bread. So it's actually really good, although I kinda is starting to get sick of it soon heh.

For some reason, I either eat Corn Flakes or Quaker oats. Quaker oats strangely tastes sweet for me. >>
