I don't know about you, but when the choice came between "rapidly wiggling my thumb back and forth on this tiny fucking d-pad" and "just ignoring it and saving myself the pain", I think I'd pick the latter too.

Granted, I don' tcare about winning or losing either (or maintaining a win record, whatever.)

Same. I kinda find myself to only be able to play Mario kart for a short periods of time whenever I snake. In the end I decided to not snake, and just have fun with the game instead of getting annoyed at having pained fingers.

Not only that, but proof that it isn't a prototype is the "COPYRIGHT 1995" after the title intro...

Most NES pirate games lack coyright. And it dosen't say who it is copyrighted to... making it a kinda pointless copyright. xD

Sometimes I play with filter for novelty, but 99% of the time I play without, because I hate how it looks. :/

Try to calculate how long you have to work on this council to earn as much as this two months job. I have no idea how many hours you do work, or how many days this job would be on.

Why don't you distribute all class files in a jar? Looks way cleaner.

Pretty nice otherwise. However I managed to get a ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException in my first session.

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 10
at picmap.marked(picmap.java:230)
at picbig.mousePressed(picbig.java:423)

Now if I had the source I could probably easily fix that error. It seems like the exception doesn't stop the gameplay... but it's probably still a good idea to get it fixed.

The backup reason is stupid. Just backup the whole DB now and then, I don't think it's any safer to have the stuff in separate tables.

Do you have any experience with SQL at all?

With SQL, you can magically pick out photos with certain context. And personally I hate dividing everything into seperate tables on DB's unless it's necessary from a functionality standpoint.
