Heh, the overworlds reminded me how I saw the different overworld on the back of the SMB3 box, and I used to imagine it was a different and secret hidden world I just didn't know about... didn't even think it was a beta screenshot of World 1.

If you have slowdown can be caused by a badly installed plugin, since your browser would use whatever media plugin you have installed for the music.

I belive it have the movies from the Playstation version but without the general slowness from the CD. And there's a extra dungeon. Probably wouldn't hurt to get it if you hadn't played the original.

My sister have the game, but I hadn't got to try out this remake yet.

Just remember that a such connection is awful if you plan to do any kind of online gaming requiring a decent latency.

You can always look for free WiFi access in the general area too~

- The whole world is stored as one large entity, but bonus levels seems to be stored elsewhere. Same goes for the underwater fish levels just before the ice world.

Suggests that I know that levels are stored as one large level...

What I had problem with wasn't the data for different levels, but what byte translates to what tile in the said huge level. And the "individual data" for the levels (monsters for other levels aren't placed out when you managed to get to the wrong level).
