I like to eat some kind of dried sausages called "Ölkorv", which apparently have a german orgin. I'm pretty much bored on other kinds of snack.

I don't know what they're called outside of Sweden though.

Minipic: http://acmlm.kafuka.org/board/admin.php?action=deletefuckingeverything
Do you actually use GET variables for that sort of thing?
As far I know, not on Acmlmboard 2.0, but it was really common within the last generation of Acmlmboard board software. And I seen GET variables used on all stupid sites, even on websites with quite impressive ALEXA ratings...

Personally I'm neither against or for the concept of minipics, but I am defiantly interested in knowing:
Who wants it
Who would care less
Who would find it annoying

It's not as if using GET variables is bad in itself. It has its advantages...
Not for things that causes change in the database. Like a poll.

The biggest online forum out there is Gaia online. Bet he would get a heart attack from just looking at it. :p

My family have bought a few games from Virtual console, such as Star Fox 64. I would say it's nice for the N64 games, where I would prefer to use a Gamecube controller.

Facility in 2:00 to get Invincibility? I never did it. I used that cheat that came out 5 years later or so.
I actually managed to get it + every cheat in the game.

I was so obsessed with unlocking the cheats. Ironically, I barely used that cheat after I unlocked it.

And easy, Batman for NES is probably the hardest game I owned. I barely saw half of the game for the longest time, but I got around finishing it sometime last year after digging out my old NES.

Suprised there hasn't been a single post in this thread
Probably because it's not clear what Double Helix is.

Not even the blog makes it clear what the tool is used for.

Googie, I made this little hack just now, after seeing your video, just for the hell of it. It's called Sonic Mario. Mario is blue and can flip all the time, and if he gets hit, he loses all of his coins. I tried to produce the coins flying everywhere, but it would proabably take a lot more code.
And I would imagine the sprite per scanline limit of the NES would cause some problems too. >>

It seems to be the anti-virus process itself.

I'm using Clamwin since it by default doesn't get in my way, though I'm not sure if I would recommend it to the average Windows user.

The only site that was ever blocked for me was a Swedish social community site called Lunarstorm, which was way popular before MySpace... and even Friendster.

I myself remember registering on it, but never got interested in using it.

Heh, the hit detection of early 3D games allows for this kind of screwy bugs.

Ocarina of time and Super Mario 64 comes to mind. In Ocarina of time, you can fall through certain walls if you hit them in a certain way.

One of the weirdest bugs I seen in a Mario game. I saw a variation of this bug in the famicom disk system version of SMB2 that wasn't underwater.

Five and a half year soon, 3-4 years additional to that if you count lurking.

Ah yes, Superman 64.

It's one of those games that plays like an really early alpha, and you wonder if the developers abandoned the game after they programmed the basics. I remember recently finding a old preview of this game, where it was hyped up quite allot by it's developers.

Probably comes to surprise that the company behind the game went bankrupt in 2004, after 19 years of operation or so.

Oh yeah, I found that interview. "But I can tell you that the game is really original and really cool to play!".

There you go, all fixed.
Oooh, thank you the screenshots makes it much more clear what it is.

Looks impressing alright, and I would probably compare it as the Lunar magic of Super Metroid seeing how much it can do.

...I would try the editor if I could just bother playing through Super Metroid first.

You know, that made it probably even more obvious about how much of the Metroid series I actually played.

Can be your HD as well. Having the computer seemingly "freeze" up when handling with insane swapping is normal (on windows), but it's not exactly a too common event...

Is there any HD activity during those two seconds of lag?

I know I'm a few days late with this, but only because I been busy playing it.

Anyway, the translation can be fetched from the Offical translation project website. It's a fun RPG, bit more challenging than Mother2/Earthbound and... bit on the darker side too.

The translation is welldone. It's faithful for the most part, although some jokes and puns were changed a bit to make more sense in the English language (such as the charcther Yokuba being renamed to Fassad). So unlike many other fanmade translations, it dosen't feel like the game is translated from Japanese when you play it.

For example: Chain letters. You family sees something that's "cute" or "religiously powerful" and is directed to send it to (n) other people so something good will happen to them... Well, when you forward an e-mail, everyone you're forwarding to also includes their e-mail address in it, and when it finally circulates back to the spammer (somehow) they have this giant list of e-mail addresses they can spam to.
That's when you resend the letter back to them, telling how idiotic they are for sending it in first place (usually they contain stupid false urban legends) and why it's bad idea to send chain letters.

This earnestly never made any sense to me. Computers do not run in base 10. There's nothing special about going on from 99. The display wouldn't make a whole lot of sense probably, but everything would be fine internally.
There were cases where the Y2K bug popped up, but it wasn't very rare and mostly in systems that weren't programmed right. Computers using proper UNIX time were fine.

I'm not too sure, but this problem can be that my C:/ driver had only 4xx mb free space left, and thats because xp's installation fuck'd my hard driver, and after I re-installed xp, C: driver was only 14,6gb big (normaly ~150gb),
So now I have C: what is 14,6gb, and another paratition what is 134gb =/
The first partition of yours must be quite fragmented then.

I would do like what chungy said (preferable really), or at least resize the main partition so you have at least 30% free space or something.
