I put some inactive staff as local moderators for now, they can view staff forums but that's it.

No of course not.

You can't put a thread offline, only close it.

I was offline for about 13-14 hours, from 17:00 to about 8:00. Watching the network with Ethereal was amusing, as practically every computer was spamming ARP messages, as they attempted to find out what happened to the gateway that went down. Took a few hours before said spam died down.

No idea, but I suspect the router crashed. I saw a physical address on the network that I suspected was said malfunctioning router... so it might been something broken further up.

I have no idea how they configured the network here.

I rarely, if ever see my desktop.

I usually have my webbrowser running behind at all times. Not to say that there's probably a IDE of whatever programming language I might mess with ATM. I had Netbeans 6.0 and/or Visual C# 2008 running for days at a time, even when I'm not working with anything...

NES have many many crap games. Some people just like looking with rose-tinted glasses into the past...

Now I think more on it, many of my favorites games are from the last few years... and not 20 years ago. (Just see how many hours I spent into Team Fortress 2 and Civilization IV currently. TF2 being released last year... and I grew up with NES games!)

Because some brands became crap over the years (lol Sonic), doesn't mean gaming as whole have.

I have set my program to stop seeding after a certain ratio, especially if there's lots of other seeders around. I had reached some insane ratios before because I just forgot about the torrent I was downloading.
