Posted by blackhole89 The picture is dated March 9th 2008. I'd be slightly damned if we had that much snow in September... |

Yep, I tried War in Hell, and I actually had a blast. Nothing complicated, but still entertaining. I like the conversion from tanks to animated creatures. Did you take the graphics from another game or is it original work? |

I got through the first world, and I can say it's quite an impressive achievement. Cool graphics, lots of different musics, new story engine, new sprites and bosses...
Good job... |

Sometimes, especially when I look at serial numbers, I always wonder what could be the first of the series, and if it's trackable at all...
What was the first book to be coded with ISBN ? Who was the first car and driver who got the licence plate AAA 000 ? (or whatever format in your country) What product is the UPC 00000 00000 ? What invention has Patent 0,000,000 ? Got answers to that? Got other examples? |

Instead of trying to "de-legitimize" websites with actual content (including "legal" content), they should blacklist IP addresses and IPS that produce or allow spam. This would constitute an intelligent decision, and a great relief... |

I've put on ice my other WIP editors, to fiddle once again with my Zelda II editor. Still got some improvement, apparently. I set the tool to force a new group to be created before the 16 tiles limit. So graphically speaking, it's a little red bar that is meant to separate two horizontal strips of the same type and tell the game that a new group (byte) must be created...
If you stick to the normal game engine, this is useful for one thing: moving the spot for the 6th Palace. Another out-of-the-norm function would be to pad the number of bytes to the original one (for example, 0x321 bytes for West Hyrule), in order to avoid any possible glitch with having more or less rows in one of your Overworld maps. I'm also planning to use the "new group" tool (I call it the "bracket" tool) to make various changes to the Overworld, triggered by speaking to certain Townfolks or getting a specific item, etc... |
