Spicy foods. Are you a wuss? Do you put pure capsaicin in your apple jacks?

I'm right in the middle. I can handle hot wings, but I prefer medium. To me, I think that there's a certain level of spiciness that one should have in a food to still be able to enjoy the flavor of the food itself. I don't like the spicyness to overpower it. So if I'm eating something spicy, all I'm worrying about is how my mouth is burning like a motherfucker and not on the food. So, i'm less inclined to eat spicy foods.

Hot and sour flavors mixed... That seems really good. There are certain chicken wing sauces that I find to be amazing for those qualities. Just the perfect amount of tangy taste to go with the spiciness. I'd say that hot wings are above my threshold for spicy foods if just for the tangy-ness that goes with it.

So I find Bleach to be pretty entertaining. Haven't caught wind of the Manga yet... will probably do sooner or later. I just got sick and tired of only knowing bleach from hentai material, so I started watching it. Haha.

Watching episode 33 now.

Gywall looks like someone I could hang out with. But Haz... You look like someone who I'd punch if you looked at me the wrong way. Or someone I'd become friends with after some crazy event.

Either way, talk about judging books by their cover. Haha.

Googie, I played up to where the new levels end, and I have to say that it was fun as hell. The difficulty was high, but not terribly hard and unfair. The coin collection aspect really gives Mario 3 a different feel, in a good way. Some people don't like to be rushed, including myself, but I think this was a welcome aspect of change to the norm. Good work!

I noticed the second edit, and changed it back to normal. Probably would have noticed it if I had really taken a gander at this thread before. But I think I'm not too terribly into games like that because they either 1) make me go FPSDoug all over the place or 2) not having a powerful enough machine to run it myself. I'd probably enjoy it if I had more practice and a decent machine to run it on.

Who knows, maybe I'll hit the lottery and have the ability to retire (from retail, HAHAHA) and have nothing but time to play games on the crazy powerful machine I've built with what money I have left over after taxes.

Reminds me when I dabbled in papercraft for a short time. I wasn't very good ad it, but I had fun. I eventually made some SMB-style question blocks and used a shoestring to get a few of them stuck on some powerlines a while back. Kinda took it from an article I saw, but it was amusing nonetheless.

Love to see some more of your work. I feel like people like you make me believe that I should be searching for easter eggs in RL.

It's the Droid Charge. Spent about $250 and agreed to a 2-year contract. No matter, I like the company, and I get off rather easy with a $65/monthly payment.

That image is only like 25% original size. Camera fuckin' rocks.

So, what about the actual handwriting?

Eh, signatures aren't really the best representation of one's handwriting. Mine sucks way worse than my handwriting. Also, the back of your ID? I doubt that's any better quality than what you could produce with a regular pen and pencil anyway. The actual thing probably got screwed up in the printing process as usual with most ID's.

Can you do cursive too or do you only ever write print?
I don't do cursive, because what I know of it I forgot. I don't care to learn it again until I have reason to. (School, probably)

I've noticed this for a while, but only just got around to asking you... Why does poptart cat change color? When did you even implement that? It has a psychological effect on me. Who do you fucking work for?

Just... two episodes? It takes more than that to gain momentum. I don't think it's fair to give it that kind of judgment after so little exposure to it.

But eh, whatever. A dislike is a dislike. At least it's better than the 4kids shit we've been inundated with here in America. I'd rather be watching Mythbusters anyway. Or Takeshi's Castle. But I can never find any of that...

I believe you. However, you did pretty well with a mouse. My mouse-writing is pretty illegible. I've once tried to do some actual print, then scan it and put it into Photoshop to finish my piece of work. Can't remember where it was, or else I would have posted it in here...

I can also do some pretty nifty artwork with Serif and Sans-Serif fonts by hand.

Have you any ideas on how to increase activity? My thought was... Hmm... I think that idea should be had elsewhere. Question still stands though, we kinda need it.

I really like the progress thus far with SMAS hacking. I really wish more can be done with it. I'm a spoiled hacker though, and would only get into it if there were such debugging tools for SNES like there are for the NES emulator FCEUX. Maybe this SMAS hacking will pick up enough momentum to really become something.

Good work!

There are quite a few genres of games that I like. Some, not so much. Discuss them here!

I seem to like the Xbox Live Arcade games. Games like... Geometry Wars, Super Meat Boy, N+. So that's two genres, platformers and shooters. I loved Gradius 3 for SNES when I was a kid. The Bit-Trip games are pretty fun, too. First person shooters are amongst some of my favorites too because of games like Portal and Unreal Tournament 2004

I don't really like too many RPG's anymore, though I'll play them to get the story out of it. I've often been known to use cheat codes just to bypass all the tedious tasks like grinding. MMO's are definitely not my favorite since it's basically a regular RPG without the story! The work that needs to be done seems to be multiplied exponentially to even get anywhere. There's too much to know about a given game than I care to know.

What about you guys?

This is what I've been helping run this place from.

Looks like a pretty decent rig, eh?

Fear these next images, then. These images show the remains of a once-powerful laptop, and has taken quite the beating over the last few years. It's literally on life support now.

That hole on the bottom is where my CPU fan was. It goes through and you can see the wall. There's a clear piece of packing tape over it to let the airflow from that $4 fan disperse a little bit better through the heatsink, instead of going straight through. The fan above it is taped in because I lost the screws to it.

Another shot of it, sitting on the small cabinet I have under my desk as a footrest.

Here's a shot of the front, no keyboard attached. Those wires sticking out are the antennae for the wi-fi radio. Not the complete lack of the screen assembly.

In this image you can see the remains of the CPU fan just to the right of the black 4" fan cable. The electronics need to be able to report that it is connected to the PC or else it won't even make it past the boot screen. I ripped apart a cat5 cable to lengthen the reach of the fan guts, to make room for the substitute fan.

Help me...
