Anyway, I think the language barrier is to blame for many problems in asking for help. I don't necessarily think he wants us to "write a tutorial" as much as get some pointers on how things work and/or an explanation.

I enjoy a lot of NES games. Of the ones I play, these are my favorites:

• Super Mario Bros. 3
• Pin-Bot
• The Legend of Zelda

I spent many hours playing Pin-Bot. At one point I actually made a palette hack of it. Looked pretty spiffy. I might do another with some minor ASM hacks (to show you the ten millions digit since it's missing) because I've been thinking about it lately.

Yeah, Kawa either forgot to put that in there or just didn't bother to put it in, grossly underestimating the amount of fail some users exhibit.

Hmm... I believe I might be able to build a house with all the bricks being shat right now. As for something to do with your motivation, you could probably work on a new layout. Whaddya think? Night-themed layout with pretty stars and moonlit clouds? Worked for Amaya-san.

You could do a twilight version of it, with Billy looking towards the sunset. Shouldn't take too much modification of his little sprite to make it work. The sky doesn't even have to be gradient, could just be a palette swap. I think your existing layout has amazing potential.

And I think that if you even attempted a three-heart run you're enough of an avid player to know who Daisuke Amaya is.
