Well, any terminal health issue that an animal has should be taken care of in the most humane way. I don't want to think what would happen to that cat if she weren't euthanized.

Dealing with loss isn't something I've come to terms with just yet. I have a 12-year old dog and she's getting near to the end of her life. I don't know how I'll react when she finally passes.

I know euthanasia is not cheap, but it's humane and I encourage you to pursue this for the cat's sake. It's a difficult decision, but considering the options, it's something I would do for a pet if they came across a terminal illness.

I can't fully relate with you just yet o this matter since I haven't really dealt with the loss of a pet before, so my feelings go out to you. Good luck.

There are also items that can have effects when equipped such as the one that GreyMario's talking about. I personally think that if the items are going to have effects, the effect should be listed somewhere. Or at least list them as "cursed".

The effects really should be listed as options in your profile. But since that's really the only thing the itemshop has going for it as of late, I'm fine with "cursed items".

I've hiked the Grand Canyon before. Truly pristine. It was a 14 mile hike in to civilization. We spent a few days down there where it had been raining/sprinkling the whole time. The rain had made a stream pretty big so we decided to make use of our M80's and blow shit up in the stream.

On the way out, I got a pretty nasty blister the last two miles, so I hiked shoeless... Up the switchbacks of the Grand Canyon. That kinda sucked. I'm glad I didn't take the helicopter tour out though, it was a great experience.

Okay, I've run into another problem with my hack as of late. All of my World 7 levels are screwing up pointers. The beginning areas are okay, but any levels connected to the beginning level are screwed up. I am guessing some area of the ROM that all this level data is in is somehow corrupted. So, when I get home, I'll try do do the following:

- Look up the levels with problem areas, write down the starting level data
- Compare that spot in the ROM in both my hack in the clean ROM and look for differences

I also noticed some errors in my hack from before... I think I might need to double check my ASM. There might be a stack imbalance screwing me off.

Maybe I'll have a few more graphics to show as I continue on with my hack. Technical issues are slowing me down, though. I want to get through them for now so I can start my second world.

Cox Internet is pretty good. I rarely have technical issues, so I don't usually have to deal with Customer Service. And when I do, they're usually pretty good.

They don't cap my download quota, just my bandwidth at 15MB/sec and upload at 3MB/sec. I pay $60 per month for that. I've got a decent router and a good modem, so I rarely disconnect. (If you see me in IRC disconnecting, it's mostly because I'm on pay-as-you-go power and the bill hasn't been paid by my roommate, or I improperly close out IRC.)

Good experiences nonetheless.

Trapster: Yes, you should save up and plan a trip out there. Truly amazing. You will not regret passing on computer parts/gadgets in favor of a trip to the Grand Canyon.

I know you don't want to show me up. All I'm saying is that I'm glad there's enough SMB3 hacking activity going on that mine, yours, and several SMB3 hacks are being made right now.

Level design sometimes is hard for me. When making levels, I sometimes lose creativity and make an incredibly dull level. I often have to retrace myself and rebuild the level.

One of these days, I'd like to build a visual map of where SMB3 levels are and what type of levels they are so I can strategically pick which ones I want to overwrite if I need to overwrite any.

I suppose I could trim the minimum height a little. Probably 150 pixels or so. I don't really like the pink either, so I'll be changing it up pretty soon. Thing is, I don't have any ideas for what to theme it on. Any suggestions would help! (Cave Story?)

The sidebar editing is not new. It was possible to do way back in the day. Now, the custom title field code has been changed in a way that nobody can do this. Admins have a way around this, though.

I was thinking of redoing the layout, but I'm not sure if I want to continue on with the stars/sky theme. I might, but if anything I'd want to go for something darker.

GreyMario: Looks good, but I think I like the pixel art better. I prefer the style you have going on with that. However, it's a work in progress, so let's see if I change my mind when you're close to completion.
