You are a weird little bastard for not eating cereal with milk. I can't stand cereal with no milk.

Frosted mini wheats are alright without milk, but I don't care for much else. I've gotta have milk. Whole or 2% milk. Nothing else. Or Vitamin D.

I come back to this game from time to time... my longest was something like 12k; not exactly anything special... The hacked one I got up to like 300k or something like that... just left it alone while playing SMB3.

I guess cereal with no milk isn't popular where I am. I've just never heard of it before. Every single time I've come across someone mentioning cereal, there's always milk involved. That is, until the topic came up between Grey Mario and I....

I also enjoy Chips in a Bag too. Some salty snacks are awesome... As are sub sandwiches. Fuck, now I'm hungry.

NightKev, you gotta remember, when you have a capacity cap of 4MB, you didn't really have to optimize it. CD's have to be optimized because faster read times could be acquired. IC's didn't, just because of its technological nature. So, you have a ROM that's 4MB, cut out the dummy data at the end, it gets down to 3MB. Now, Nintendo didn't really give a shit about optimizing it because it took roughly the same amount of time to write anything to a 4MB chip. With the advent of downloadable gaming, every bit counts and was condensed/optimized for this purpose.

Interdpth: good eye. Seeing as the file format's obviously lz77 (LZ77JCBE.rom) you should probably find a way to get that decompressed. You probably have your rom right there...

R.C. Pro-Am ?

Man how'd you guess?

You could have probably have used RC Pro-Am II, it has tons and tons of better stuff in it; jumps, more weapons, more upgrades, more tracks, etc... Unless you're planning on doing a sequel hack later on in the future. Do I sense this coming up?

I have had my current main e-mail address for as long as yahoo has been online. I don't get shit like that because I know what to watch out for and understand most methods for spammers to acquire your e-mail address.

For example: Chain letters. You family sees something that's "cute" or "religiously powerful" and is directed to send it to (n) other people so something good will happen to them... Well, when you forward an e-mail, everyone you're forwarding to also includes their e-mail address in it, and when it finally circulates back to the spammer (somehow) they have this giant list of e-mail addresses they can spam to.

Hotpockets aren't really that inexpensive, especially when compared to ramen. Even the cup noodle kind can't hold a candle to the price of a hotpocket. I guess it's the only thing you can get that's close to the taste of a homecooked meal for a fraction of the cost... Again, I'm comparing to ramen for the taste.

I don't buy thyem, it's usually sandwiches (pb&j/honey, bologna, lunchmeat) cereal (with fucking MILK) ramen, mac & cheese, rice, or spaghetti. Cheap stuff.

What the fuck would you make pork brains with anyway? Like, what would you incorprate it with? Do you like, use it instead of ground beef or something?

Still, I still argue that the point of going to youtube is to watch videos. If I wanted to listen to music or look at pictures, I'd go elsewhere. Youtube should have some sort of tagging feature that users can seperate these kinds of videos apart...

Stark: Exactly what I mean. Far cheaper than hotpockets.

Trax: Yeah, they come in a lot of flavors (pizza included) but my favorite is cheese & broccoli. I should be worrying about my health, but my wallet won't let me. It's being a little bitch right now.

Sweet, since I just voted for it too... Now, is this the farthest it will ever get into actual production? Or will people actually be interested in it? Will it become popular enough to gain the sights of many MM fans? Find out next time on DRAGON BALL Z!

Giangurgolo created a few ASM hacks before we began the Lazy Shell project,

Custom Items - Introduces 6 new items that enhance Mario and other characters' abilities in/out of battle.
5-Digit Damage - Displays 5 digits when 9999+ damage is dealt; attack has been increased 17x
Muscle Patch - Same effects of 5-digit damage patch, plus 4-digit HP
I've yet to see this patch. It proves its possible though, and opens up the possibility of creating a hack where the values are much more open. Thing is, the whole battle system would need to be recalculated to accommodate for the larger values. Something that needs to be done to justify this ASM hack in the first place.

BAN HIM
Seriously, just don't fucking post. Everything you leave behind you are nothing but giant piles of steaming of shit. If I had the authority to ban you, it would have been done already.

Everyone else: clean up your goddamn shit or I'm going to start throwing things.

I typically don't play Rockman/Megaman hacks because most of the ones I have played seemed to be designed for a player with either a shitload of patience or a shitload of skill. Or savestates. If anyone can recommend a game on par with the originals (as far as difficulty goes) I'd love to hear it.

Yes yell at me.
Are you freaking joking, this is what got me banned before.

He honestly said that too anyways, he used some html or something so it would be hidden but it will appear if you quote him.
You seem to be the dominant dumbass in this thread, hence my "yelling" at you.

You continue to derail the thread.
You whine about what other people do in the thread, instead of PM'ing someone about it.
You don't even contribute half of the time.

There are people new to this community that don't need this. Knock off your shit, final warning.

It's nice to know that some people still make hard levels but don't require stupid-ass techniques or 209375 save states. I want to play the goddamn game and enjoy it. I'm someone with a short attention span and an "VG" anger problem (See: Angry Nintendo Nerd) so hacks like the one you're making isn't my cup of tea.

I prefer games that don't require a whole lot of effort, aren't repetitive, and are fun. This is why a lot of RPG's turn me off. Megaman 9 gave me a hard time, but it was still enjoyable; it was about the point of difficulty that I start to get really upset and just quit the game out of disgust. Though, there were a couple of jumps in MM4 that made me quit that game for 3 years before I picked it up again and beat it...

Suprised there hasn't been a single post in this thread

http://interdpth.arc-nova.org/DoubleHelix2.0.zip
I actually *do* believe that it hasn't gotten much attention, what with the original post and all...

When you release something as big as this, it's best to show some screenshots, provide a "What's New" list, a link to the download, etc. instead of just a link to your blog which just tells you to read the readme.

I really want to get back into hacking, but I've got another project at hand still and I've been getting a lot more hours than usual. Good luck with this, you'll always have my support.

The purpose of this thread is to share and discuss your gaming glitches that you may have encountered, seen, or otherwise stumbled upon which made you laugh so hard you were writhing in pain.

I've got one for an old N64 game that I've been performing for 7 years. It never gets old. I call them "Snotrockets". Emulator sound doesn't work for this game, so I added soundtrack to it. Enjoy!

Edit: If anyone knows how to embed the high quality versions of videos, let me know...
