I've got decent ones. >>

400W system should suffice I would hope. That or my Sony Fontopias that grab a 6-23000Hz range.

Upon checking that site with a decent pair at the office, both us dipped out after about the 16.7KHz range. I could barely pick up the 17KHz one.

On a good pair, I was hearing them but I think it was a matter of harmonics.

Try playing two at once...we were trying to get ultrasonic chords going on...but I have a feeling it was the site glitching out.

K.

If you people click the highest frequency one and hit submit...you'll notice that it doesn't have sound. It's just a blank. :\

Supposedly the ones just above 17.7K (18.8K) are teen repellents...meaning people around 20 or so get to fsck around with teenagers with that sound blaring out of their cell. The one above that is exceptional hearing (six-year-olds) and above that is fucking with dogs.

I can hear it better on certain sound systems that pick up better with different/better sound cards. As it stands, this one fails on the 21KHz one because it blares (probably harmonic distortion) whereas the other ones I can hear above the 16.7KHz mark.

The one at RS I could just barely hear the 17.8KHz one, couldn't hear 18.8, but the rest above that were distorted (meaning I could hear it but it was probably off) up until the top one (nothing).

Yea, I can still tell if there's electricity flowing or if a TV's on even if it's muted. It isn't 'deafed' to us 20-+-year-olds.

The fuck?

Okay, death by UNNATURAL cause would be someone going 'English, motherfucker, do you speak it?' and having the person go 'what?' and be shot and killed.

Hay, Pulp Fiction.

Been looking through music for the past four hours and I've made some changes in terms of the software I use to browse MAME/Arcade data (using BridgeM1 now; it's up-to-date and has a VERY good library on what music is titled what).

Think I've got a few ideas of what I'm going to be doing coming up after Ultimix 3 supposedly goes through. I've cut Razorback [No. 666 Mix], beautifully I might add, to about 2:14. That would be one idea.

Another one I've had is to update the one Orochi thing I did way back in DOD 5 from KOF '97, with a remix from KOF 2002. I may yet re-release that one with a better rip of the original and maybe a redone stepfile and call it a v.1.1. At least I know the title to it now, Rhythmic Hallucination. I've got a library stemming from KOF 97-00, and 02 now for that.

There have been a few Diverse tracks that I've considered simming, with some help from CPU in terms of sparking said interest. I'm not sure if I'll get to one soon enough or not.

I do have Cannon Angel in mind one of these days and I do have to get V and Destiny [Long] finished up eventually. I don't know what I'll do for those two. The response back from either of these two has been dreadfully low, which hasn't really sparked my interest in getting them done.

If I had to guess which one came next, it'd be either the Razorback one, this Orochi file, or maybe I may get around to getting Paradox -Disarray Mix- simmed since I have the graphics to that one. Hell, I've had graphics for Quantum and DX05 but that was over two years ago and I've still never simmed either.

I'm in a slump until I get my 'writing project' done...so I may just hold off on anything until mid-month. I do actually have a few priorities IRL I should consider sorting out first before this, but at least you know I'm throwing some ideas out.

I'm talking about the REASON we die not HOW we die or what causes it.

But what we die FOR, not FROM.

Now it's sounding more out of patriotism.

If I'm getting this through my large-ass bouts of sarcasm, you're basically asking why aren't we immortal and why do we get to the point where we reach our peaks only to inevitably erode into crap in some sort of twisted joke that plays through everyone's lives no matter how small or large they are in the vast expanse of space?

Because we'd get bored.

That said, life is what you make out of it. Those that complain about it -and- have no right to (I realize this may be a problem for some) should either fix it (if at all possible) or grow the fuck up.

I would say Carpe Diem but I have a feeling that with as many nightowls as we have...Carpe Noctem may work a fuck better.

I think he's trying to say something around the lines of making the BG to the speech bubble about 80% or 90% opacity so the background art isn't completely cut away. I guess that'd work but that's really a matter of preference.

By the by, much better.

Then I'll probably get Turbulent Ground of Flame done for you by then. It's 1:49 and an OGG. Graphics were done this morning; I'll likely work on it after work tonight.

Likely a 7/Heavy, 9/Challenge. Slow, though.

If you're considering money to be the top option, I'd probably jump on it in a second (except I know for a damned fact I would -never- be looked up for the job). Sides, if they're desperate and they're paying, I don't care how I look (to an extent).

Moving cautiously, just like everyone else said. Usually, if it's too good to be true, it is.

Not to mention, most of these things take years of time to get completely right. The fact that you're -consistently- working on it (and have been over a long period of time) is proof enough that you'll get something that you'll eventually like and run with it.

Two things I can think of that went from readable to really good was Dominic Deegan and EGS and Clockz had a better start than either of them, really.

I'd really wonder how the would progress three-to-five years from now.
