2,200 dollars between two guys in six hours based on the fact we usually get about 300 on dead Sundays?
Yea, I'd say so. Five cellphone cells and numerous people asking about weather radios that we sold out of here and the store across the way is abnormal. The fact that people panic over rainstorms and small chances of snow down here is incredible. Otherwise, not really too much to tell you. :\ |

You know, I'm about done with SMO.
All the AAAs I got tonight weren't put up on their scoring board and they were down all of yesterday. Oh well...black flagged Chromosphere anyways. |

Posted by RT-55J One thing I've learned from giant gaming corporations over the years, be it software or hardware, is that they are prone to ANYTHING be it sensible or not. That said, I wouldn't buy one. They're better off making games. |

%%%BOMBLISS_FRAME%%%
DRAWS Round 2: Since it took so long the first time, I'm giving a -month- for this to be done. I expect this to be done MUCH faster, if at all possible but it seems even giving -3- weeks I still had to pull a DQ and it would've gone on for four weeks anyways. 4/22/2007 is the due date. >>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<< Here's what I got from round 1: A1. Ninetales A2. Drag A3. Hiryuu A4. Xkeeper A5. Bloodstar A6. cpubasic13 A7. AlexAR A8. Ailure B1. blackhole89 B2. HydraPheetz B3. xpCynic B4. fabio B5. Tanks B6. Yoronosuku (replacement) B7. Colin B8. BooUrns ALT1. Sonicandtails Used Random.org again and got: A BRACKET (3/4 played): #1 (DONE; 1-2): 8 - Ailure (L) 7 - AlexAR (W) #2: 4 - Xkeeper 5 - Bloodstar #3 (DONE; 0-2): 2 - Drag (L) 3 - Hiryuu (W) #4 (DONE; 1-3): 6 - cpubasic13 (L) 1 - Ninetales (W) B BRACKET (1/4 played): #1: 3 - xpCynic 6 - Yoronosuku (replacement) #2: 7 - Colin 4 - fabio #3: 1 - blackhole89 5 - Tanks #4 (DONE; 0-2): 2 - HydraPheetz (L) 8 - BooUrns (W) >>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<< Round 1: #1: (DONE) 13 - blackhole89 (B bracket) 6 - Ninetales (A bracket) #2 (DONE): 5 - HydraPheetz (B bracket) 10 - Drag (A bracket) #3 (DONE): 7 - xpCynic (B bracket) 1 - Hiryuu (A bracket) #4 (DONE): 2 - Xkeeper (A bracket) 8 - fabio (B bracket) #5 (DONE): 9 - Bloodstar (A Bracket) 16 - Tanks (B Bracket) #6: (DIS'Q) 4 - cpubasic13 (A bracket) 12 - Kirby Mario (B bracket - poss. replace) #7: (DONE) 14 - Colin (B bracket) 11 - AlexAR (A bracket) #8: (DONE) 15 - Ailure (A bracket) 3 - BooUrns (B bracket) For those of you who were aware, there was a Super Bombliss tourney that was ready to get underway a few weeks ago. Then the board died. So, instead of digging the old thread up, I've just decide to open the tournament for registration once more. Get in while you can because I know of people that would want to go ahead and do it now if they could. :\ For those that weren't informed, this game pertains to Super Bombliss (J) on the SNES via ZSNES 1.42. Puzzle-type game with the whole explanation for it sitting here. We had 16 but since I'm not sure if everyone survived the delete, I'm re-opening the registration to have another go. We'll do a new draw, but I'm still looking for 16. So go for it. |

A little more than a year ago I got my first full-time job. I had taken a few part time jobs here and there since I was 14, but I had never really put forth a committed effort to KEEP a job because I had been going to school.
Well, since that's a dream for some time down the road (if ever) I'm currently pushing two jobs. One full- and one part-time. I've kept a job as a cashier at a gas station (Valero) for a year now and I accepted a full-time job over at a local RadioShack in July. Honestly, the whole working for barely over minimum wage for both jobs sucks but there is currently nothing better and I'm actively searching/trying to find better. For now, at least, I can't say that I'm in trouble with bill or anything and I'm living fairly comfortable and couldn't really care that I only have 56K. I'm glad I have anything at all at this point. |

I didn't even know it was dubbed the term screamer before this. Hell this was the first of its kind I saw just a few days ago. :\ |

Oh I get that and I have to walk up to them in my other job and marvel at how most of them think they know so much and yet know so little.
Thankfully, though, there are the rare ones that come through and put even my knowledge to shame. That's what makes a week really. That or a dozen phone sales for commission. |

Posted by Xeogred Oh yea, I get those, but not in that particular aspect. And as for the guy; he can check it himself. It's really not that hard to lift the hood and go...'Power Steering'...'Brake Fluid'...ooo diz low bettah top off lar... Checking fluids can be done by a two-year-old so if he's gonna give that crap about stuff that people would normally -not- want done anyways (in my experience, I would rather not have the hood lifted when I take it to someone unless absolutely necessary) then he should jam a sharpstick up his ass. I'll add my own. About six months or so ago, I had someone come in who didn't quite get the concept of pre-pay. We get a lot of these and unfortunately we had to convert to pay first because people kept driving off with our gas. We were suffering losses of about 500-1000 dollars a week; we had no choice. Well, the guy decided to argue about not wanting to pay first...and I mean really argue with the voice level raised. Now, if you guys know me, I don't really take much offense from lamers or get scared, so I calmly told him that if he wanted to get anything done, he could use his card at the pump or pay whatever he wanted to get here in cash, check or credit. It was up to him. So after he kept on muttering some incoherent garble, he drops twenty and runs out to his pump to get his gas, nothing else said. He gets to about 19.82 and he notices the pump slowing down and walks back in complaining that he's not going to get past 20 dollars. I told him flat out before and after that what you pay is what you get (in a less demeaning manner). He was basically to the point of throwing his fist across the counter and I've just got a smug look on my face the whole time because he has no clue and...even if he did...security camera plus sue equals win. I mean an old lady basically told him he was being rude. He stfu right afterwards. I'm surprised the lady hadn't spoke up sooner but I think it dispersed everything. |

I've got 192 and I can't do any higher. People aren't necessarily made of money either. In my case, I'd have to get a whole new mobo plus RAM and...honestly...I'd rather get the cash to buy a whole new comp if I'm up to that level.
So it takes several minutes for a text render to work in Photoshop CS. Whoopie. |

It was linked in the thread, Traps. Read it.
And Tanks, bud, you got in right after the door closed so you'll wind up as alternate. :\ I'll do the draws later, but we have 16 again. |

Posted by NinetalesPosted by HiryuuActually, Hiryuu, your link redirects to ||board. Actually, no it doesn't. That was the same exact URL that's in my post. I'll do the draws later on when I get home from work. I didn't expect the board to be down yesterday. |

Having a PC Engine is rare period.
Having TG-16 CD games are even better. Honestly, I'd kill to see just how good the Valis series was. |

Posted by Sgraff87 That's what I was afraid of. I have no way of playing it. The SNES version is barely a comparison to what I've read. |
