It's Skor's, it's Rhapsody (which really isn't too bad), and it's 180BPM 16th note runs to the end of time throughout the whole damned song. I got done sightread Aing it and wanted my four minutes back. |

I'm sure that the ViewSonic you have there is the same one that RadioShack carries (I have one there open-box for demo) and it isn't half bad model and looks and does the job nicely.
Still, I'd be tempted to look at that SAMSUNG 941BW. I'm not too sure about Hanns-G, I haven't heard a lot about them personally and I know SAMSUNG to usually be a good brand in terms of displays (in my experience, at least). |

So I'm going through the Seraphic Gate. The bosses are harder than hell to kill as it is. Finally succeed in defeating Wotan and get through to the third floor. I'm doing fine until I get to a Sunspot Visitor. Now, he's really nothing and he's slow as fuck but has a lot of HP. So I'm wailing on him, right? All of a sudden he does something I totally don't expect. 'Astral Maze' hey what's tha--OMG MY FUCKING CHARACTERS ARE GONE WHAT THE [tosses controller game aver]---fuck. God damn I'm glad I saved before that. Insta-kills at this stage of the game aren't funny. |

Uh...
Yea, the sockets are different for differing speeds of RAM, not because one's a MAC and one's a WHINEDOZE. For instance, PC-3100 doesn't fit into a PC-100 regardless of if they're both 128MB strips or not. The PC-3100 is going to rock a lot more ass but you're SOL if it doesn't fit and isn't compatible to the -motherboard-...not necessarily what OS you're running. Worst case scenario, you load it up and it gives you a page fault, a registry error or it doesn't load at all. |

Why did I know before I looked that you would ask that? Hahhh...
DD and I took a look at it hoping that it was as good as it claimed. To be brutally honest, it's not nearly as user-friendly as it should be and...for all practical purposes...it does nothing about what it claims to do in terms of helping the sync...at least by anything we could figure out. DD would be the one to tell you that he could just as easily make StepMania do that and a wave editor is practically all it looks like. In that case, do what we always have: use a wave editor, Goldwave. You'd be better off using 3.95's editor. At least with that you have a way to put rolls in if you absolutely need them. The only problem is they tend to fuck up simfiles a lot in terms of getting the Voltage right (usually reads 0). They've all sucked since the end of 3.9. |
