...That's around the area of common sense.
I will say that you fail if you actually used a vacuum cleaner to do the job. Ever heard of electricity? Static electricity? You think that does well against such machinery as a computer and a hard drive? It does not. Then again, most people are afraid as hell to open their systems to clean them...probably like most people are afraid to even open the hood of their car to see if they need oil or not. I've seen 286es that were never opened until twenty years later. That is a complete nightmare. For the record, I'm currently at 31-34C (or ~87-93F) and am not using anything to liquid cool it...otherwise it'd probably run a bit better. |

Man, I've forgotten all I've done with this Shitpaq. It's definitely not what it was when I started.
Case: Compaq Presario 5000 default casing, bought in 2001 Motherboard: Even though I've looked at it, I couldn't tell you. It's probably just the default motherboard that came with the original 5000 package and I'm not exactly sure on the name of it. Processor: Intel Pentium 3 @ 1.0GHz, came with model RAM: 192MB RAM PC-100 (offsetting 128-64; yea, it's bad, but you find PC-100 these days), original strip + 64 strip put in around '05 Video Card: 256MB PCI Radeon Stealth 9250, circa 2007 Sound Card: Onboard...came with it Power Supply: Default...not sure on wattage but I'm guessing not past 300 Keyboard: Default Shitpaq keyboard (KU-9978)...but it's actually not half bad, came with model Mouse: Logitech LX5 Invisible Optic Cordless Mouse, circa 2007 Monitor: 17" Dell M782p Monitor, circa 10/02 Speakers: Using boombox, Sony CFS-1035, circa 1995 Hard drive: 60GB Maxtor DiamondMAX 9, circa 2003 (original being 60GB WD that died soon after purchasing this thing) External drive: 160GB Maxtor External drive, model U01E160, circa 2007 Media: 1) LG 16x DVD-ROM, came with system 2) WriteMaster/MAD-DOG 18x DVD-/+R/W DL triple-format writer (only problem is that with my specs it's extremely limited), circa late 2006 So basically my case is housing some random awesome and some random dated stuff. If I ever get a new system the awesome stuff will likely make its debut on my other system unless otherwise obsoleted. |

Man that was tough...I don't think I've had quite a hard time beating an RPG in a while like this one and I'm still not really done with it yet if you count the post story. Worse, it seems you can keep playing the darn thing through again and again and each time it gets that much harder (up to 50 times harder).
It doesn't help that the whole game top to bottom is intentionally kickass. That's no good for me since it screams 'time suck'. Damn... Anyways, anyone else play this or do I have to strongly suggest that you do? |

If I'm going to be drinking soda period it's going to be outside of diet.
If I really cared about a diet, I wouldn't be drinking soda. Only at a Mickey D's will you see someone buy a double cheeseburger, a large order of fries and a Diet Coke. |

Actually, Thexare, with the people present now, I wouldn't take such a tournament.
And, back in my prime, I was a little bit better than I am now. I used to get 30K, which still doesn't compare to some of the ones you'd see around here anymore. The only reason I would say 'no' to something like this, which I am, is because these kind of tournaments tend to never be finished. That's why I decomissioned my Bombliss one because the interest sank. That's not to say I wouldn't socially like to try to kick someone around in a game, either. |

Posted by Sinfjotle I think a lot of those that were caught up in the backstories of the original Valkyrie Profile were let down by that point. There was something but a lot of it relied on old knowledge of the original...which I've yet to play because I can't find a damned PSX copy and refuse to pay for a PSP until they go down some (I'm cheap and paying back a 900-dollar clutch). |

Hmm...who -did- I use when I played that game? Mature always won for being 10x better than Vice, generally, so I used her. Andy usually won out over me using Terry like every other player on the planet. I'd agree on using Kula. Hmm...who else... Yuri I tended to overuse out of principle. Vanessa was just kickass. Shermie was fun just to catch people off-guard with. I tended to dip in my skills after those. King was nice but, as far as I know, she's not in '02. Sides, she was better in '97 or '98. A retarded addition to Stepmania.
Basically, you're supposed to 'lift' your foot from the note but have it pressed down prior to the lift coming. Or you could basically 'tap' the note fast. You could do the same thing with a mine, really. |

I couldn't ever really get used to Ryo. It's not that I didn't want to, but he tended to be very awkward at times and flat out sucked in games such as Capcom vs. SNK. At least in KOF he didn't suck nearly as bad but I generally used Yuri over him for the fact that she tended to flow a lot better than he ever did. I will say he did have a few choice moves that made going against him suck though (one that I can think of was an easy chain-to-dizzy). |

... Unless I really need to make another thread about it. We did have a lot of fun last time I made an attempt at such a thing. I remember we deal with the likes of myself, K, DD and Colin all in DOOM either in co-op or deathmatch. Man having Colin as a 'target Pikachu' was funny as hell. |
