I had taken an interest in ROM hacking about a month prior to my discovery of the board. I found the second incarnation via google while looking for a lunar magic advice place or something of the such. I made a grand total of one post on the second incarnation (i mostly lurked) before it went down. I learned of the third incarnation from whatever site Iceman had running at the time. As for this board, I found a link to it (can't remember where) about a day after the "events".

Why SMB1 ones?

I rarely see them nowdays.

Did you ever see that "super penis world" hack? I have a feeling stuff like that's why...

House
The Office
Scrubs
Lost
and on occasion I'll watch 30 Rock and My Name is Earl.

To me, those are about the only show on television.

I cried last night because Xkeeper got banned from the board... I listened to emo music and cut myself. I already miss Xkeeper's "reign of unending happiness" and "banning all the bad members". All these mean oldbies are too serious and too sarcastic for me. They're post take to much intelligence to read, and I don't understand anything outside of AOL speak. I want the board to go back to when I could post threads about how cool my friend was and only have LOL in my post about my friend. That way I could get my postcount higher so I would appear cooler. I hope Xkeeper is okay, I think if I lost my adminship I would probably cry and go look at some loli... and then kill myself for looking at loli.

Please gaiz help me... I can't stay emo my whole life can I.

Apparently this was too funny for you to resist re-posting...

Mine I developed by myself, it originally had one "s". Soon after I came up with the name, I learned it was the name of some African-ground squirrel. It wasn't until after I tried to join runescape () with the name that I added a second "s". Xerus had already been taken.

My first and only post on the second incarnation of the board was a question about Exgraphics...
Other than that, I never bothered to spell-check my posts, and I held off on posting anything as long as I could. Well, that and the time I released a corrupted patch...

While it is only high school finals (Freshman level to be exact) I'm nervous about my Algebra final. The teacher said just about everything I turned in was late, so I had an mediocre "C" going into the final. :p
Guess what? None of it made sense. I may have understood about ten of the thirty-five questions. So I'm sort of dreading the results of that one (set to arrive several days from now).
Otherwise, I had mostly A's.

I had first picked up on using the old man from the Legend of Zelda back at the old board. So I figured new board, new cheap effect for a new avatar.

I like the idea of it splitting into two separate worlds with varying length and difficulty.
But I'm guessing you only need one to advance, and both of them to get that OH SO SUPER SECRET SURPRISE WORLD at the end?

This is rather similar to an idea I had for my hack. It would give the player the option of taking a desert world or a snow world, although they would both need to be completed to access the special world. (But I probably won't ever finish the hack, so you can use the idea all you want).

Don't you ever just watch TV like a normal person? Or when evening comes around do you just think ,"I'll go mess with the people on the board"?

Hmm... You just have better luck with the generator.
Most of my catgirls look more like this: Typical American Catgirl

I once read an article on the addictiveness of TV too. Apparently during a study, they kept several families from watching TV for a couple of months, and they found that the number of spankings (violence :0) went up.
So I guess, over half the US is addicted to at least one thing.

Shit, I looked at the date and I suddenly realized that's where I got the number from... I knew subconsciously it wasn't the right number of years when I wrote it, but I didn't change it.
Happy 24th birthday...

I live in Oregon... No more than a two-hour drive from Alastor... That is of course presuming he still lives where he did.

Well, I don't even know how I can take a screenshot while my computer is booting up...
Heheh. Bootskin uses bmp files. Convert those to something net-friendly.

I don't muck around with the kernal, I use boot.ini, making it rather hard to take a screenshot. All it is is a 16-color version of "Water Windows" wallpaper.

But I doubt it would fit on my HD. And if it could, my specs suck too much to run it probably

I'm pretty sure all you need is a processor over 800 mhz, and 512mb of RAM or more. (Although I would recommend you get a bigger hd)
