Actually I'm writing a paper on the subject of steroid use. Since it's comparatively common among powerlifters, I figured there may be a thread of truth to that statement.

Ah, really? I was at a (powerlifting) meet a while ago where the (ex right now?) bench champion attempted over a thousand pounds and his daughter (who is pretty young but already pretty big) was also competing--I'd sort of hope that this isn't a father-daughter steroiding pair since she was just in her teens and steroids really fuck you up if you're a girl.

e: for this reason I think the curvy look works out better irl

Maybe so, but even if we DID force the FAQ to be read, that still wouldn't stop particularly tenacious bad posters (i.e purposeful trolls). BUT on the same token, it would act as a nice captcha-ish filter for spam bots.

So two stones with one bird!

Eh Anavar is fairly safe for chicks, but smart money says that guy is shooting a powerful cocktail.

Well she was a bit chunky but certainly nothing like the garbage you see all over the media intended to discourage steroid use. But yeah, I don't doubt that the powerlifting scene is full of juicers, especially in california where fresh OJ and smoothies are so popular.

That's what I'm finding out more and more lately. Most of the experienced users I've talked to said the biggest worry is that your muscles will grow faster than your joints and ligaments, and that your cholesterol will rise.

Yeah, most people don't want to believe it but steroid users (like most other recreational users) tend to be pretty reasonable people--if you're a girl you don't want to look all "muscled up and gross" or even if you're a guy there's a not-so-fine line between gross musculature and the ideal (bodybuilding) figure.
e:obviously the health stuff you said too

Hell, I remember when there was the ASC (don't remember what the hell is stood for) Where you would get points for having the most posts in the day. It looks like the whole place only gets about 5 post a day!

And its not even Acmlm's anymore. What is this board2 crap? Acmlm hasn't even been here since 2007!

I'm disappointed guys. I thought the site would of lasted a lot longer than that. :/

It's all gone....I can't believe it's all gone.......

One word: Xkeeper. That's the reason it's dead.

Edit: Btw, don't ask what happened because I can't be arsed to explain it all. No offense. And I don't have/remember all details either.

I think it's unfair to blame xk when each person decided to choose sides of their own accord.

Without having watched either, I think you should be careful about calling anything your favourite without having gained some distance from it to be able to compare it to competitors in the same class in a more objective light.

That being said, I might have a look at it. Lots of people seem to be liking it and the other series this season (apart from, perhaps, Sora no Woto) all have been disappointing to varying degrees.

A retrospect followup: it was worth watching, unlike baccano which I thought was pretty pretentious garbage--maybe it's no more than a modern-day baccano, but the japanese know more about shinjuku or wherever than some victorian lulz.

In other words, I would give it a 1~4 episode screening to see if you like it and go on from there.

It's just stark's way of showing his love.

mockup of a psp phone

and of the psp2 which isn't going to be around until late 2011

On most phones you can do PSX games but I have no clue about how good the controls are or if you can do PS2 emulation. Would it be hoping for too much to expect some sort of way to play PS2 games on a portable device in the next few years? Some fans made a "portable" mod of a PS2 but it looks too clunky to be useful for mobile gaming at least. Honestly this will be my first dedicated gaming device so I don't really know that much about how this stuff works. The PSP successor will have an HD display and a solid state optical processor and will shoot lasers so I am looking forward to it.

itt recommend psx games to play/replay

Well, time marches on. We'll never get that 1995-2005 phase when the internet still was young and free and we rode into the sunset on our Geocities-hosted steeds together back either.

Rather than dwelling on the past and how its restoration could be brought forth, though, it would make more sense to actually sit down and think of a sensible plan for future that ideally does not rely on a set of people undoing the character development they underwent during the past 5 years. While I don't reckon the board is going to die anytime soon - even if we are no good at calling forth growth, I think the present administration at least has a degree of blockheadedness that will make us pull through somehow for years to come if all else fails - good ideas for that would be of much utility.

Either way, I'm glad I was remembered
