Why would people complain about creativity that gets done for free? It's not like you're buying the hack. It's like movies, not everyone will like a certain movie. There will always be things about people who will dislike/hate about certain movies, so the same thing with hacks.
Some people will like certain humor, certain level designs, certain graphics and some people won't, that is just the way it is in this world, people will like, love, dislike and hate certain things about anything. Sometimes I feel like when people complain about level designs in hacks, I feel like those people who complain that their gaming skills royally suck, there is something called "practice" you know. And if people who complain about certain humor in hacks or certain graphics in hacks, then I feel like you people are not open minded. So sit down, have a Coke and a smile, and shut the F*ck up! Why don't people complain about things they hate about certain level editors, like why are there level editors that are not finished? Or why are there not Window versions of DOS editors? Hi guys, I want to take a crack at hacking Mega Man 4 being a first real project to work on. I hope I am not being a bother to anyone, if I am I'm really sorry. Okay here's my question...
How does one change the level layouts in the game? I plan to change the level layouts of at least the 8 robots. The editor itself seems easy enough to use, which I got here. Well, thanks for taking the time to read my thread.

Yeah I meant the level design/paths for the stages. So I don't have to make levels around the original paths.

Well, as long as I can edit the level paths like in Schwa's MM4 hack, I'll be good to go. Now that's school is out I plan to work on MM4 all summer, I really hope I can get this done.

But yeah, 5 worlds long is a pretty good idea, I forgot who's also making a SMB3 hack with 4 to 5 worlds being done. Nice work so far!

To Dr. Mario & optomon: You guys made an awsome CV1 hack, over a year's work shows how much blood and sweat you guys put to make this hack happen. Right now I'm up to level 4, I love the water women! It's a bit harder than the original CV but I'm going to finish this hack by tonight! I'm glad I'm interested in NES hacking, my brother plays his Nes carts all the time in his den. I'll have to look at this, there's one thing about SMB that bothers me, and it's when you choose what form Bowser turns into when you kill him with fire. I wanna change him into a fire bar but when he changes the fire bar stays still, it doesn't turn.

I don't think Acmlm wouldn't mind if someone wants to finish his hack, it would be nice to see this hack finished as long as the levels are good. I remember a SMB hack that someone finished Super Mario Bros. Challenge last year and that hack was in a dead state, I forgot who it was that finished it.
