Much as I like GGXX, I wish they'd give us a *new* game rather than a rehash of the same old, same old. Kinda wish they'd include the Korean soundtrack, too, but that would just be a nice bonus.
Robo-ky's Korean soundtrack is awesome btw. |

What about #Reload though? I mean okay, Accent Core has the weird key girl and Order Sol, but what other improvements have they added?
Edit: Oh right, I forgot that Slash was in there between #Reload and ^Core too. So that make GGXX, GGXX #Reload, GGXX Slash, GGXX ^Core. Okay, so. Tweak tweak. GGX3 please? :/ |

I don't generally play much for pokemon, but I just thought I'd say that I disagree with the grass placement on your route maps - especially the 101 map. Getting into random battles can be a pain when you don't want them, but even more so when you DO want them and you only have teesny tiny areas that have them. Ever tried to find a Pink Puff in FF4? Yeah. |

I get a fair few calls from an aged nun who seems to think I'm Sister Catherine. |

Folks, *this* is how you make a hack. It's not too easy, but nor is it painfully difficult; it's got a great curve going for it. It looks good, sounds good, is a blast to play and does a ton of new things.
Superb. |

Hmm, I dunno whether this is the bugfix you mentioned, but I ended up saving and quitting in Misty Maze 2, and when I resumed the game Sonic could no longer jump-dash; rather, he controlled like Mighty. It seemed to be persistent too; I tried loading a savestate and that didn't help, and I tried resetting the game and starting a *new* game and that didn't help either. Weird. |

It wasn't classic, I know that, because I had a spin thing when I jumped, and I had a fire dash with the fire shield. Further, I don't even know how to access the options screen at this point :p |

After a lengthy debug process, Aeon Genesis has released a complete translation of Dragon Squadron Danzarb, a simple little RPG produced by Pandora Box, Gainax, and Yutaka for the SNES. It features a battle system halfway between Phantasy Star and Final Fantasy, giant robot dragons, a new gameplay twist for each mission, and a story that, while largely cliche, impresses greatly by the end of the game.
The translation is complete and hopefully without issues. Enjoy! Relevant linkage: Aeon Genesis |

After an extremely lengthy betatest period, Aeon Genesis has released a completed translation of Metal Max Returns, a post-apocalyptic RPG with a strong emphasis on heavy artillery.
Metal Max is an open, nonlinear RPG with a heavy focus on sidequests and tank tweaking. The main game has you chasing bounty heads and finding new vehicles for your entourage, but there’s so much other stuff to do! You can pimp your tanks with decals and accessories, you can buy furniture and wall hangings for your home, play with little critters that eat your money and grow to enormous proportions, or enjoy a host of minigames. Go hunting for this week’s target and become a rich and famous bounty hunter! |

I did a little of it; honestly, I can see both rom space and screen space being a *major* issue with the text. Returns is a remake of Metal Max 1, though, so you're getting a similar experience by playing this. |

Posted by NightKev Actually, no, it wasn't. There was no "original" Japanese version. I remember the guy who did this remarking that it was very technically difficult, as something needed to be expanded to allow for more tiles in the font. |

Aeon Genesis has, at long last, released their translation patch for the highly-anticipated NES RPG, Lagrange Point, made famous for its inclusion of on-board FM audio. It's worth noting that this is the eventual end-result of the same translation project started by J2E Translations more than ten years ago; it was handed off to Aeon Genesis after necrosaro left to pursue his doctorate. The translation is complete, fully tested, and hopefully bug-free, so enjoy! Relevant linkage: Aeon Genesis |

Long has been the wait for a completed Dark Half translation, but in association with Eien ni Hen and with the blessings of Klepto Software, Aeon Genesis has pulled it off! AGTP picked up Dark Half about nine months ago after Eien ni Hen talked about it in the Rom-Hacking Histories podcast. Hacking began in earnest when Eien ni Hen turned in a script about four months ago. The end result is the polished, high-quality, and hopefully bug-free translation available now! This one has been a long time coming, so please enjoy it! Relevant linkage: Aeon Genesis |
