Why you gotta be like this, KP?

I'm pretty sure we discussed this and came to no real consensus. Because I have always thought this was a good idea, and don't remember losing an argument about it.

If you really, REALLY need your thread title changed you can just PM a staff member to do it.
Why should you have to do that? The times when this are going to be used innocuously far outweigh the times it is going to be used mischievously or maliciously. And when that happens, the person in question can just be banned or something. There's no reason not to implement this.

Oh my goodness this is so hard

I am trying to learn how to braid my hair from internet tutorials

It is not going so well; I cannot keep the hair from just merging together into one tangled mess after a few runs-through.

Stylistically, it is most correct to use a triple-point ellipsis (. . .) to in the standard for, or a quadruple-point ellipsis (. . . .) when ending a sentence. In general, most style guides also indicate it good to put a space between all periods in an ellipsis. When using an ellipsis to mark an omission, it is also encouraged (though not required) that they be enclosed in square brackets (for example, "This was [. . .] not necessary") for the sake of clarity.

In all seriousness, saying you bump means that you post in rather old threads unnecessarily, thereby "bumping" them to the top of the thread list. It's generally frowned upon, because it makes it somewhat more troublesome to sift through to more recent (and in most cases therefore more useful) threads.

Where to even BEGIN on this one

Overall most favorite fighter: Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +. This game is just far too classy. It's really good! Like... Really, really good.

Other great fighters?

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike is just a sweet, sweet game actually! Like, this game is extremely class.

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is pretty cool. It's also nothing like Third Strike.

Akatsuki Blitzkampf is kinda like Third Strike, but easier to get into and possibly even a better game.

BlazBlue is kinda meh right now but in later revisions it'll probably develop into something pretty good, given its developers' track record.

Melee is a pretty sweet game! So is Brawl+ actually. Vanilla Brawl is quite mediocre. And then Smash 64 is just ludicrously broken.

Soul Calibur II was pretty sweet. A slight bit broken, though. Soul Edge and Soul Calibur are both unrefined, Soul Calibur 3 is broken, Soul Calibur 4 is slow and boring.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves (the last game in the Fatal Fury series) is another old but good game.

The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match is very well-balanced and fun. The King of Fighters XII I haven't played much of, but from what I have seen so far it looks awesome. I can definitely see it developing into my second-favorite fighter.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is a very exciting game that follows in the footsteps of renowned good game Marvel vs Capcom 2.

I have not played Immaterial and Missing Power, but it seems good from what I've seen. If more people I knew played it, I would want to try to learn it... But I don't have enough time to justify it as it stands. Scarlet Weather Rhapsody is awful and no one should ever play it.

I may want to get into Melty Blood: Actress Again. Depends on if a local scene develops. I've played previous Melty Blood games, but not very thoroughly. It looks like it could be good.

I feel like there's a good chance I forgot something. I'll tell you what I didn't forget, though: Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter IV, and Tekken. Heh.

Bukkarooo, what system are you getting BlazBlue for?

Also another fighting game I forgot about but which is really cool is Gundam Wing: Endless Duel.

Pretty much by definition, a novel contains at least 50,000 words.

This is a bad thread. Why would you make a thread this bad?

Why this thread got trashed

10) The title does not inspire confidence
9) The list in the opening post is not entertaining at all
8) The whole thread is pretty vapid, actually
7) People will inevitably run out of steam and resort to non-sequiturs
6) It made me spend several minutes writing a reply just to avoid this
5) It encourages spam without logic
4) It encourages spam without thought
3) It could hardly be considered an experiment
2) It could hardly be considered a game
1) RomManic made it

I earnestly can't think of anything that pisses me off... I mean, I can be angry at times, but not for any reasons involving generalities. I guess I'm just a pretty mellow person.

Edit: Reading through other people's lists, it... Why would you be angry at this? It all seems so petty.

Man! Script format is super lame. There's no emotion in it. There is a reason that it is used for SCRIPTS: It makes them easier to write while allowing all the emotion and subtleties to be played out by the actors and the director. In a sense, you don't need to have subtlety when writing a script because all the depth is being filled out by another party.

But... Here, there is no other party making your bad writing look good. You don't have actors, and you don't have comparable. Here, this is most comparable to writing a book, so you should be using prose format. Script is just not acceptable.

As something of an addendum, in case is wasn't clear

Script format isn't banned, or anything, but it's rather frowned upon; it breaks flow.
