I still vote to implement a main page. There is a bunch to add, therefore there might need to be someone there to take care of it all. The problems at hand aren't really that bad, and the idea of a main page is realistic. This community is big enough and deserves it.
"Haha, that was good, Xeruss. Good job on that." Had he said that, you certainly would not have complained... Yet the post would not contain any more information. One-sentence posts can be perfectly expressive. While they are generally frowned upon, it is much easier to say nothing with a long, winding passage than it is with a small set of words. Quality is much more important than length.
Meanwhile, you completely exploded at him in a completely unjustified fashion. That's not really acceptable. If you're going to make such rash, hateful statements, why are you staff?
