Why do pink usernames show up as banned-gray color in threads but nowhere else?
'cause threads and ArBeWhat's profile are the only places his CSS is.

Alastor is a fag.

I'm sure he'll ban you because "he thinks it will be fucking funny".
No, I wouldn't do that. It's not really my schtick. I might ban him for flaming and homophobic remarks, to be certain.

Mountain Heights, Flight of the Yoshi, and Ninji Fortress are the best ones. I liked Mountain Heights the most, though I scored Flight of the Yoshi higher because "fun" is only worth 10 points on this scale. If there's any I'd absolutely recommend, it'd be Mountain Heights. If there's any you should absolutely avoid, it's Shellkicker Cavern. The unnamed ones and A Night in the Woods are also pretty poor.

Really?! I thought Shellkicker Cavern was one of the best ones, if by "avoiding it" you mean because it's extremely hard, then I agree with you, but I think the harder ones are the better ones. The one I think is the bad one is "A night in the woods"
Yeah, the thing is that you're a bloody fool who has no idea what he's talking about. There really is a difference between "hard" and "goddamned awful." It's an utterly craptastic level with no redeeming features. If you like it, you are wrong. I don't care if it's your opinion, your opinion is wrong. And you gave it 50, what the bloody hell

I agree. Shellkicker Cavern was unfair, though the setups it had were well thought out. Most of the unfairness came from the lack of a reset system to fix something if you messed it up. D:
I'd say they were well-thought-out if they didn't periodically just make you die. Like this!

EDIT: The highest score I've awarded so far is 48/50. Try to guess which one earned it! ;D
Well, I'm really hoping it's Mountain Heights, but if it's Ninji Fortress or Flight of the Yoshi I won't be too disappointed.

Do I count in this nonsense? Certainly, the style is Japanese, but the character is a time-travelling Brit. It's also not from an anime or a manga.

On my old computer, I had an animated gif of that scene. But also, that's not an answer.

Man, what HAPPENED to this thread

General advice for people who play semicompetitively:

Every team should have two walls, two sweepers, and a hazer/pseudohazer. Each team should probably also have a rapid spinner, a Stealth Rock user, and a general status effect abuser, as these make life much easier. Other things which are not necessary for a general team, but which are really quite nice, are Toxic Spikes users, Knock Off users, team healers, revenge killers, Intimidators, weather stirrers, and Baton Passers.

You probably also want at least one ghost and either have a poison-type or have your rapid spinner be a steel-type. Ghosts are awesome, and Rapid Spin against a ghost will not remove the enemy's Spike-type effect. Poison-types, when switched in, remove Toxic Spikes, and it sucks a lot to switch in your Rapid Spinner to get rid of Toxic Spikes, as that will likely poison your Rapid Spinner, and most can't heal from that easily. The exception to this is if you have a team healer.

These pokemon are extremely worthwhile, and you should definitely keep them in mind when making a team.

I don't think my level had any glitches.

Technical - There are glitches - flagpost sprite is set too high, and things coming out of boxes often don't appear until they're entirely out. Graphically, in the bonus area where you ride the cloud, the black background doesn't match the blue background built into the cloud (it's not transparent there). In the area with the secret exit, there's no proper floor to the part where the secret exit is. 4/10.
