Pokerus and Macho Brace is the best way to go about EV training if you have Pokerus available, since the power items will only give you +4 and the most you can get with those is 10 EV's, Pokerus and Macho Brace allow for a max 12 EV's.
I am fairly certain that (3 + 4) * 2 > 3 * 2 * 2.


Pokerus doesn't effect hold items, Pokerus doubles EV's and Macho Brace Doubles EV's, meaning that you get this equation.

P=Pokerus
M=Macho Brace
EV=Wild Pokemon's EV points it "drops"
P(EV)+M(EV)=Total
2(1)+2(1)=Total
2+2=4

2(2)+2(2)=Total
4+4=8

3(2)+3(2)=Total
6+6=12

So, if you use the Power items, the equation would look like this.

P(EV)+4 so if you battle a Pokemon that gives 3 EV's it'd give 6 with Pokerus and 4 with the Power item, so a maximum of 10.
... Pokerus doubles after the Power Items increase it. Not sure where you're getting this from.

Xkeeper was way, way too strict, and can't seem to handle anything not going his way. This board just hasn't been nearly as fun with him as admin as it was when I first came around... I mean, I don't mind Xkeeper as a person, but I just don't think he's good with power. It's not like any other administrators ever exploded the board. I think it's good for him to be out of power.

Really, the only reason things are getting so chaotic right now is because right now, the only admin around is Ailure, who is... Completely on the opposite side. If Xk is too strict, Ailure is hilariously lenient. Except it's not really funny at all. If every other admin hadn't disappeared, we wouldn't really be in this mess...
