Hi, I'm microneppy. I'm interested in video games, anime and technology, decided to join here to see other people's ROM hack creations and participate in a community. Nice looking forum software, too. Haven't really seen it in use on any 'larger' boards before.

I certainly agree. It shouldn't take much effort to implement it into the forums, and will definitely keep the website cleaner, I'd say give it a shot and see what happens ^~^

10 gb hard drive? I thought I had it bad with a 30 gb hard drive. I don't miss xp at all. I'm on win10 now with classic shell installed so it looks like windows 7. So glad to be off xp and old computers.

I'm using Windows 10, though I hate the Start Menu, so I use Windows 8's Start Screen instead, which was one of the things I liked about that OS. It kept everything neatly organised in my opinion.

Thanks for the info! Also, your hacks made me want to play the original after many years, so I did and I found it quite an enjoyable and fun game with good mechanics, I can't believe I forgot all about it.

The OP hasn't been active since posting this thread, but hopefully he is reading our replies and taking into consideration what could be done.

I personally think nesrocks' idea would be the most useful for ROM hackers. You could maybe also make a Super Mario Land 2 editor, that would be a very fun game to hack in my opinion, I really liked that game. I know an SML1 editor is apparently in the works since my friend made the logo for it.

Wouldn't be a bad idea, actually, since Pikmin isn't really a game that a lot of people have looked into. Would give your project a lot of interest, although I'm not sure of the interest of this forum, which is mostly geared towards NES and SNES hacking.

I was thinking that maybe board2 members could start having community netplay sessions with each other! It'd definitely bring a lot of fun into the community. I'd definitely be up to play something like Super Mario Kart (or maybe specific ROM-hacks) with you guys!

Here, you can arrange such sessions and discuss here about what games you're going to play with others, what times, and on what server etc.

I'd recommend you use the PM feature to share IP addresses.
