As I'd mentioned earlier, I've spread resources too thin managing so many places online alone. So! I said to myself 'How about making my intentions known and find out who has the skills to assist in them?'. I'll first give thanks to the community here for being great friends all these years, even if I was a lurker much of the time.
With that said... I'm going to detail the main positions and what talents may be beneficial for each. Overall: promotion, logos. SMW hack: overworld paths, graphics. Web site(s): page layouts, HTML. File archive: create and/or find meaningful content to upload. Wiki: ability to summarize fan fiction, obtain and sort ROM hacking info. Forums: initiate conversations. Acmlmboard: MySQL or PHP knowledge, debugging. There are a lot of ways to contact me if you're interested. I won't use up bandwidth here listing them. PM me to get a list. Sorry about that. Without signatures working yet, I couldn't make a brief statement there. I'll go ahead and close or repurpose some of the redundant places. I don't need two Geocities pages, and an Angelfire one for instance. Not helpful. Streamlining in this way will make it easier to run things smoothly. ____________________ |

Nice to see more older members around. I'm one of the few left from its first year though. Sound effects hacking is by far lesser understood than music. It's not saying much, as they're both rare. ____________________ |

AIM, hmm... I had to visit the second incarnation archive to find my name for that and ICQ. I've never actually tried sending or receving a message with either program.  Maybe somebody can send one to see if it works.____________________ |

From what I've seen, this is the technical users half. And they're the humorous half. I discovered them by accident, they just happened to keep the URL from before. I could troll on the people here for not telling me about this place, but that's rude so I won't. Besides... Same banner as the third board, same 'current' name as it, both new boards use at least offshoots in some way of Acmlm's code? Tough to say. Things may still work out in the end, but each incarnation has had less activity then the last. ____________________ |

Oops. Sorry. I forgot about that convention where most anything is copyrighted on it's own. Acmlm hasn't so far recalled existing versions which did get released, or publicly asked someone to take down their Acmlmboard that we know of, but he does have the option. ____________________ |

I really would like to know what (paper) scanners are compatible with Windows Vista. I'd asked you-know-where, but didn't get a useful response. And don't troll against Vista itself either. I'm not interested.
Or... What about a virtual machine along the lines of Virtual PC that supports USB? Then I could just install XP on it. ____________________ |

I know it was started on April 1st, but its a milestone being my first (and only so far) joke hack attempt.
It might progress faster since these don't need sensible plotlines. Stability in the emulator of course still matters. I'll probably tone down the humor to be more work-safe later on.   
Oh, by the way. One common feature all hacks of mine have is their open-source-esque nature. If you want to base your project on something I began, go ahead. ____________________ |
