This is my hack of Zelda 3 link to the past and will be a complete overhaul of the game. As the title implies it is meant to be a spiritual sequel to the Zelda games on gameboy! Yes, I chose Zelda3 on purpose and not the oracle games to hack. I've been working and have had a lot of help from other people, some who even use this board!

It shares many similarities with the oracle games such as overworld style, story relations, dungeon scheme, bosses, and much more hidden things. It's been in development for about 6 months now and I've made it rather far I think, of course none of this would be possible without some of the help I've received from people like puzzledude, conn, seph, etc.

So without further ado, here are some screenshots and videos!

Goldstar item (by conn) and some new music!

Hurricane spin and nimbus (by conn)

Fairy Flippers

Outside of that uh, any questions or feedback?

Well, I should mention the graphics in the oracle games were insanely lazy, this is just adhering to the style. I may be a rom hacker but I'm not crazy, updating all the sprites and graphics to an unreachable standard especially with how finicky Zelda hacking is, yeah no.

Xeruss this is correct, and I personally think the menu looks fine. Again the graphics in the oracle games were primitive and lazy, no need to copy the crappy stuff just because much nostalgic for oracle of ages/seasons.

I'm not trying to be rude but you are asking a lot of me, re-updating menu graphics? Sprites??? And the wood is as bright as its gonna get, lttp has an extremely limited color palette. EXTREMELY.

And yes it looks like minish cap, that's a handheld Zelda, sue me.

Hyrule magic has been dead for years and fusoya specifically said for MON not to release the source code.

These also aren't the same graphics from lttp AT ALL. When's the last time you played?

Zelda3 hacking is complicated as it is there isn't a lot of room for graphical improvement unless you reallocate all the graphics brand new like parallel universes for example
