For Android device users NES.emu Free seems to work great. I've played through the first level with no problems. Really enjoying playing!

Really thought I was done and was completely satisfied and then...

Most fun playing in a while and there's more.

No major problems on my Droid up to here.

Just finished and it was so worth it! Thanks for all the work you put into this!

Guess it's time to go back and see what all I missed.

Wasn't sure if you got everything like you wanted so this may help.

Change 4F36 to 20 and 4F37 to 00. Doesn't have to be, but made a little easier for me.

4F38-5079 Tiles
Less than equal to 7F. Example 0400. The next 4 tiles will be 00, 00, 00, and 00.
Greater than equal to 81. Example 8400010203. The next 4 tiles will be 00, 01, 02, and 04.
Make sure everthing equals full screen.

(827 bytes collapsed: )

507A-508A Palette
Less than equal to 7F. Example 0800. The next 8 palette blocks will be 00.
Greater than equal to 81. Example 8255AA. The next 2 palette blocks will be 55 and AA.
Make sure everthing equals full screen.

(121 bytes collapsed: )

Another good one is to use the code command. No other BBCode will work within, and everything will display as text like below. Snippets taken from here.

I'd also like comments from anyone who has made a repro on this to let me know how it works on real hardware. --ShaneM, Master of ASM

Would like to test out but it would need to be a more common mapper. There is one named "Super Mario Bros 2 (J) [p1]" that is mapper 4 that works similar to yours but on real hardware there is an issue with the status bar scrolling.

Oh wow this was already done? Does that image need specific chips in order to pull it off? Mines all within one rom, now dip switches or anything fancy required if put on an mmc5 cart.

This was made last night with the v2 patch you made using a famicom mmc5 cart. Thanks for all the work you put into making these patches!

Just finished the SRAM for Super Mario Bros. 2 All that is left is Super Mario Bros. 3 to have new SRAM asm.

Great news.

Nostalgia NES for Android, and I believe thats a port of NESTopia. The issue doesnt take much for me: just select SMB2us, select a character, and experience the falldom.

I never even thought of the minus world. i don't know how to activate it, I thought this was just an emulator based glitch to the rom?

It is activated by going through the wall at the end of world 1-2 to the warp area and not going far enough to have all 3 of the pirrah plants disappear before going down pipe.

This isn't the method I use to do it but should explain better than I typed it.

Edit...

Edit...

You'll figure it out.

I agree with RetroRain.

Love the new features. I remember growing up and leaving my Nintendo on for days playing SMB2 because of no save function so it is cool to see it have it now.

Thanks! I thought it would need ASM
*one thing if you get hit too much it begins to go down again*

Didn't see that but did see that when you get to the first boss he can not damage you with previous.

Try the below.

GG YZVOXXTX

Looked to work. Let counter get to 1 through hits and it didn't move due to time.
