Hello, I'm new to this forum, and I don't know if anybody has done this before (someone probably has though), but I wanted to know if anybody else would like me to make a Super Luigi RPG hack.
This is NOT just gonna be a hack where I only change Mario's graphics. I would really appreciate any ideas/input on other things to change for this hack, such as dialogue, plot, characters, levels, etc. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated! ____________________ --Captain Swag, of the U.S.S. I've been working on and off with LazyShell, and I've made a few things with Lunar Magic too, but I still haven't published any of my hacks ____________________ --Captain Swag, of the U.S.S. Enderman |

Here's a link to the Koopa Bros Battle Music, It's an IPS. (Just Play the game until u enter Bowser's Castle for the first time, then listen to the music). I'm still working on it though.

I haven't seen any sort of thread talking about further official progress on LazyShell's development, so I've decided to try and put in some work myself, and open it up to anyone who's interested.
Based on this post Giangurgolo made back in 2015, it seems that development of LazyShell was going to be halted for an unknown amount of time. Therefore, I would like to try and keep development for this awesome program alive by trying to help the community contribute to LazyShell's code and development, in the event that Giangurgolo does not wish or is not able to continue working on the project. He's given the SMRPG hacking community a lot over the past years, and I'd like to help him out in any way I can! To that end, I have taken quite a bit of time to create a GitHub repository for LazyShell for anyone who wants to contribute to the program's source code for adding new features, fixing bugs, making the program compatible with newer systems, etc. The repo features a recreation of the version history with commits which are as time-accurate as possible, based off of the timestamps from any code snapshots of the program that could be obtained. It also contains the latest code from Giangurgolo's unfinished v4.0 build, and some modifications of my own to fix bugs and improve things a bit. However, because the original v4.0 code is unfinished, it is likely to still be buggy, and I would really appreciate some help with testing and fixing the code. Please feel free to fork and submit pull requests! The GitHub repository can be found here: https://github.com/jpmac26/LazyShell You can also download the latest version of the program, including the mysterious v4.0 release here: https://github.com/jpmac26/LazyShell/releases/ ____________________ --Captain Swag, of the U.S.S. You can view the changes from v4.0 in the "changelog.txt" file on GitHub. Also, there are very few compilation instructions, you can open the solution in Visual Studio Community 2015 or 2017. If you have any issues building it, please let me know. ____________________ --Captain Swag, of the U.S.S. Enderman |
