Posted by KawaKawa, I use Opera 10.62, and the table cells are perfectly transparent for me (and apparently everyone else who uses Opera), so you probably edited some setting that's causing it to break. Also, the so-called breadcrumbs had backgrounds on Neritic, I didn't realize there weren't any on board2, so they would need to be classed with td.b or whatever here as well to look proper with the theme. This seems to be the table/cell structure for them at Neritic, based on looking at a random thread and then viewing page source:
Also, see here for the function that actually generates that. $l is for the left side (ie: "Main - Forum - Thread"), $c for the center (uh... I don't know of any pages that use it but I guess it's there just in case), $r for the right (ie: "New Reply - New Thread - New Poll"). ____________________ |

Ah, yeah, Chrome without extensions is lightning fast. Unfortunately it becomes somewhat slow if you add more than one or two, or perhaps especially if you add certain ones (maybe?). Vanilla Chrome is extremely lightweight though, yeah. ____________________ |

Well, image smoothing might actually have something to do with it, the theme uses transparent PNGs for the table backgrounds because apparently using rgba() backgrounds was messing up some layouts or something. :shrug: ____________________ |

kuroi.irc.djbouche.net == nucleus.kafuka.org
Kuroi and board2 are on the same server. Aoi+services are on a different server run by DJBouche. Kuroi and Aoi/services link together to form djbnet. There used to be 4 or so other servers linked in to djbnet as well, but they just sort of died off and the ops that ran them just vanished, more or less. ____________________ |

Posted by Mega-MarioWell, I dunno, it looked fine to me either way. And like I said before, images are only going to be loaded once per session and then cached so it shouldn't be a big deal regardless.Posted by NightKev Kawa, I just don't know what you've done, but it looks fine to everyone except you, so it's definitely some setting you've messed with that's doing it. Maybe no one else uses both Opera 10.62 and Windows 7, though? That's the only think I can think of that might be different. ____________________ |

I could've sworn there was already a pets thread that I had posted in... hm...
5 cats, 1 dog (never again, goddamn idiot dog...) Three of the cats we sort of just "got", 1 when neighbors abandoned her and moved away to wherever (oh what's this cat doing in my backyard it never goes away i guess it's mine now?!), 2 a few years later when once again neighbors move away but at least they said "hey we can't take the cats with us you have 3 already can you take them?". ____________________ |

The board's IRC applet points to nucleus.kafuka.org because it's on the same server as it; if kuroi is down, so is the applet anyway! ____________________ |

Or, you could get MPC-HC (MPC hasn't been updated since mid-2007, MPC-HC was last updated 9/17/2010, so I bet it would be more likely to work with whatever codecs you're using, and windows 7 (since, well, win7 came out in 2009...)). Also, if you just downloaded/installed random codecs, some of them might've been incompatible with each other, which could cause problems. Get something like the CCCP, which is a pack of codecs tested to work with each other. Assuming you have some sort of codec clash that's causing problems, then go ahead and use that restore point and then install these instead and you should be fine. If it's something else, well... :shrug: ____________________ |
