I've started making a Try Editor, but I'm wondering if it's worth continuing to make it, as it seems not many people are interested in making Trys. So, this is sort of an "is there any interest in this?" thread right now.

The Try help files are just machine translated, and I was going to (attempt to) provide a more coherent translation for people.
And yeah, I'm also making this for the absolute beginners who can use it as a starting point.
As for that screenshot, it's out of date. When I'm finished reworking the GUI I'll post another one.
Also, yes, there will be a simple text editor too.

Uh, MM, it looks like most of his actual (non-OS) data is in the Vista partition, so formatting it would be... a rather bad idea, unless he's going to back-up 120GB suddenly.

Well, there is one method you could use that definitely would work. I know someone made all the parts invulnerable, then used events to take health away from them. It was for appearances' sake, but if you had the events not let more than X damage be done at once, then all you have to do is make the destruction event condition "If [Health] < [X+1]", and at that point it turns off all the damage-dealing events and initiates the "yay victoly" ones. The core/parts will never get below 1 health this way. It might be a bit more effort this way, but since we don't really know the exact values of the strongest possible player weapon (the damage values might change between ship types even), it's currently the only surefire method (that I know of).

Easier than what at doing what? They're certainly not easier to code! He already added the drag-and-drop feature, too, so there's no need for a GUI at all.
