I learned about dot products of vectors today in PreCalc.
And it was Spanish food day at the cafeteria. Beef Soft Tacos, Beef and Bean Burritos and Spicy Chicken sandwiches. (not sure how the last one is Spanish but it still was good.) ____________________ |

Thanks for the comments and stuff.
I probably should've eased up on the bevel and emboss for the magazine text. Unfortunately, the project is over but if I have time when I'm assembling my final project (a compilation of all the projects throughout the year) I'll try to change some of the things suggested. As for the desert landscape, I haven't turned it in yet so I can fix some stuff before submitting it. I really need to get Photoshop for myself but it's WAY too much $$$ to spend on it. I wonder how the CS3 Beta is? That's free right? If I could get that I could teach myself with some tutorials, but until then, unless I write down the tutorial or bring it in on my flash and try to teach myself stuff in class, I won't be getting far. The teacher doesn't let anyone on the Internet. And Hiryuu, I do know what SM is. I have it on my computer. It's pretty fun to play around with every once in a while. I have an image I made with Bryce 5 that I could show too. It's at school now but I could show it tomorrow. It's my first real attempt at using the program so of course it'll be pretty n00bish. ____________________ |

I never owned an NES because I was too young for it. I don't have much "rare" stuff but...
I have an original Game Boy that still works like a charm. Ahh, remember the yellow-green contrast? Super Metroid cartridge. It's not truly rare, but it's the rarest to find in its series. It cost me $30.00 used. Truly one of my favorite games. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. You must be thinking, "Rare? I own that--that's not rare!" However, I ordered it through Nintendo Power back in 2000 as a bundle pack and got the game, guide and soundtrack for $70 plus the renewal of the magazine. The game itself is a gold, holographic cartridge, probably worth a decent amount, seeing as you could only get them in like the first month or so of the game being out. Other SNES games: DKC1 DKC2 DKC3 SMAS (without SMW) Goof Troop () Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow SMW SMW2: Yoshi's Island Old Game Boy games: Donkey Kong Land 1, 2, 3 LoZ: Link's Awakening (DX and original) Wario Land 1, 2, 3 Pokémon Blue, Red (two copies), Yellow, Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins Turok II Metroid II: Return of Samus Thunderbirds (European game, own two copies) I think the three I went into detail about above are more rare that anything I have. Though I think Metroid II might be rare, along with the old Link's Awakening. Maybe someone could help me figure out which are rarest, if any. ____________________ |

My computer is a 15" flatscreen with 1024x768, but it isn't hooked to the Internet () so the computer I'm using now has a 19" Ultrasharp LCD with 1280x1024 resolution. I like it a lot. ____________________ |

There's a huge storm system across all of the Southern US. A tornado already hit Entreprise, Alabama and destroyed a high school. The whole system is moving up and I may have tornado warnings all the way up where I live, near DC. I'm a little worried but we should be ok. ____________________ |

I forgot to mention that I also have the Zelda: OoT and Master Quest special disk for Gamecube. That's gotta be worth something, even if a little. ____________________ |

This is the first image I made with Bryce 5, so I basically have very little clue about what it can do and such. I also realize that the area between the mountains and house is pretty empty and that the lake is way too circular to be natural but I'm just starting to learn it as I've said.
Look! This must be where the eye from Super Mario 64 lives! ____________________ |

I have to say that his board is much more fun than ||board or the 3rd incarnation. I definitely feel more of a community member here. As for posts:
3rd: 105 posts ||board: 20 posts AB II: 69 (70 if you count this) Wow, those 105 on the 3rd board were over a course of four months and the 70 on this board were made in 8 days. That's awesome. I'd never post like this if it wasn't so fun. ____________________ |

I'm not sure if this is what you need, but www.safeforwork.net and www.backfox.com are both proxies that my friends and I have used before at school to access places like Myspace and Youtube. ____________________ |

I honestly don't care anymore. It's been announced for so long now that I'm used to it. And, plus, if you think the name is funny and you have to resort to making sexual jokes about it, you're probably too immature to be a serious gamer. ____________________ |

Posted by Nyletak Mini-Mario might be easier than Mega-Mario, only because you would have to expand Mario's tilemap a ton for the time that he is Mega then tell the game to shrink him and return his tilemap to normal. ____________________ |

Isn't there a rare version of Metroid Prime out there? According to metroid2002.com, there was a version released between the original release and the player's choice release. At one point I think I read that it was very hard to get. I don't own one but I'm just wondering.
I do have though the original version of Metroid Prime, the one with all the glitches intact. I love it. I also have a non-Player's Choice version of SSBM. I doubt that's worth anything because everyone has the game but maybe since the version is the original and the player's choice version came along pretty fast (which most people have) it's worth a dollar or two more. ____________________ |

I've been playing Cave Story lately and I love it! I got the bad ending so far and I almost have the good one. I'll have to try again to get the hard one now that I know how to get it. I love this game; it's so amazing! I think it could have easily been an SNES game if it had been made in the SNES's time. ____________________ |

What was Kabutroid doing there? That was completely random. (Not unlike the rest of the strip.) When are Kirby and Yoshi going to beat BG Bandit? It's getting repetitive. ____________________ |

My friend has some old NES games he just got from his brother. He said he has two Legend of Zeldas--one gold cart and gray cart. Also, something called Fester's Quest and some others I can't remember () I'm betting one of those LoZ's is rarer than the other. ____________________ |

Last year at my school, someone brought World of Warcraft in on their iPod and loaded it onto the network. People were playing WoW in class until the end of the year when administrators finally found it. ____________________ |

Super Smash Bros Melee was easily the highest selling Gamecube game. Because of this, I'd bet that all sorts of companies are trying to get their characters into the game. It can be viewed as a promotion for the characters. I know that the very first Super Smash Bros for N64 introduced me to Star Fox, Earthbound, Metroid and F-Zero. In Melee, I got introduced to Fire Emblem and Game & Watch. I'll bet a lot of other gamers had the same thing happen, so for companies to potentially get more recognition among their characters, they must be sending people to camp out at Nintendo's doorstep and ask to be in. ____________________ |

Is that why there were very few other sprites in Yoshi's Island boss fights? Because it uses up so much memory and tile space? ____________________ |

Posted by TweakerPosted by XkeeperPosted by Green-KirbyAm I the only one expecting Mario to jump out of this at any second? Ditto. Reminds me a lot of a Yoshi's Island pipe. ____________________ |
