I wanted "fire" in there somewhere and Phoenix sounded cool. Then I put a zero just for the heck of it. Therefore: FirePhoenix0. Of course, I had to MISSPELL Phoenix on the Nintendo NSider Forums, becoming FirePheonix0. Oh, that was a true spelling failure... ____________________ |

Posted by KlesPosted by FirePhoenix0Posted by Ice PenguinWe launched our tennis ball 56 feet at max. Maybe, but it depends on how big his trebuchet was too. If they were both 5" tall, then I guess he does win. This same friend of mine used to have a 10" tall one that he launchhed pumpkins from into his yard. He has three acres of land to do this in. He also does crazy stuff. ____________________ |

Posted by Nyletak *smacks forehead Oh well, a five inch trebuchet that throws a tennis ball 56 feet would be awesome. ____________________ |

Posted by Ice Penguin Did the math, and it would be hurled 672 feet. Holy Hell, that would be a deadly ballistic. ____________________ |

Posted by pikaguy900 2: To be honest, I never really think of adding much more than I need to complete the level and have the five Yoshi Coins. I'll probably add more things to levels because for one, that level in the shot is quite devoid of blocks. 3: Well, I think the palette at least looks more underwater than the original game palettes did. 4: Eh, they probably would be, but then again who ever heard of walking on clouds in the first place? 5: The red spikes were an idea I had. I thought of bloody spikes but putting red on only part of them didn't work and I ended up making them totally red. Maybe I'll try some ExGFX. 7: The Bowling Ball is sprite A1 (I believe). I inserted it manually and then used the Super GFX Bypass to load the correct GFX file for the bowling ball. Easy. 8: Yeah I know. I'll play around with the patch again. And for the record, it's not that I saw them as wrong in Lunar Magic, It was that they were wrong in the actual game. As for the finding the offset, I need to read some stuff on hex first then I'll attempt it. But, it will change for he final version. 9: The branch GFX was custom made by me, so I'm not sure what you could be relating them to. ____________________ |

Ok I got it uploaded on Geocities.
Super_Mario_Eternity.zip. To Kles: That should just be coincidence. Though, it is hard to have anything but blocky levels when the majority are forest/castle/switch palace/ghost house levels. But there are some normal ones and the World 3 I've begun has plenty of hills and stuff. ____________________ |

Hey, do you think I want to do Science fair? Biggest waste of time ever. I have to do it because I'm in Honors Physics. (Though strangely, AP Physics doesn't have to do one and that's a harder, more advanced course. Go figure.) ____________________ |

French tast and sausage links for breakfast and minestrone (sp?) soup and roast beef of wheat sandwich for lunch. Breakfast was hurried because I had to go somewhere but lunch was pretty good. ____________________ |

29. People on Youtube that screen record other peoples' videos and then post them up as their own.
30. People with no ambition in their lives (my friend hates this more than me). 31. When dinner turns out to be already cold right after it left the oven. ____________________ |

Posted by Ice Penguin You eat a lot of canned foods. Canned broccoli and cheese soup, canned stag chili and now canned clam chowder. Try boxed foods instead. ____________________ |

I've had that idea of levels connecting to previous levels before, but I've never implemented it. I may do that at some point in my game.
As for the P-Switch Blocks, those look pretty interesting to use. I'll bet you can make a lot of good puzzles using them. ____________________ |

Posted by pikaguy900Just be careful not to use them close to walls or Mario can get stuck and killed in the wall. Unless you want that as part of the challenge.Posted by FirePhoenix0 ____________________ |

I played it today and it was pretty good! I'm only missing two Red Coins in Castle Canopy and then I'll have a PERFECT! for World 1. I'm looking forward to the rest of your hack. ____________________ |

Posted by Tweaker It was Icegoom that did the graphics. (Go bad memory!) Those screens look very good. I've never seen that Yoshi's Island background used in a SMW hack before. It also looks like you got the coloring of the BG down real well too. Question: What does the Normalizer block do? ____________________ |

I'm wondering if there's a way that someone could make a block (or something else) that turns off the effects of the Special World. I think it would be awesome to hit the block in a level somewhere and then on the overworld, day has turned to night through the use of the Special Passed palettes. ____________________ |

Meatball Sub or Philly Cheesesteak?
Also, what would win in a four way fight, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind? ____________________ |
