See? I'm trying to make him look like a pirate and have a bandana around his head (though in my opinion her looks more like Jewish Boo wearing a yamaka) but you can see the bandana wraps around to other parts of the sprite. I'm guessing this is because Nintendo just re-used the graphics for the Big Boo's turn frames. How can I change it so that the graphics don't show up on his rear when he turns?

All along I realized that the usernames would come back in time and that every post would be logged. I mean if every edit post can be seen, why not Anonymous posts? Knowing this, I decided to not be an ass because I knew there would be reprecussions. The only thing I did was create one thread in fish but it's really not half as bad as the rest of the crap that went on here.

All this said, I enjoyed today. It was interesting to say the least.

About the BG that I inspiried, make them darker or different colors than the FG alltogether. That's what I had to do to make the FG and BG distinguished from each other.

I like the Spirit Isle level but do something about the cement blocks. Those are bad palettes. I'm also wondering how the last jump with the six Koopas works. Do you have to thread the needle between them or jump take a complete blind jump? If it's the latter, I suggest having some coins to guide the fall.

Hey all. My family and I have been wandering all over Southern France for the past two weeks and have finnaly found a internet connection in Paris. I visited places like Aix-en-Provence, Les-Beax, Avignon, Menton, Cannes and Monaco/Montecarlo. It's been awesome so far. It was amazing to see how rich Monaco was compared to anywhere in the rest of the world. The country is loaded with money.
We're hoping to visit the cathedrals today and maybe the Lourve tomorrow.
The worst thing so far on the trip is that I (stupidly) blew out my DS charger by plugging it into a French socket. I used an adapter but the 110/220 difference still blew the thing. I had to buy a DS car charger to charge it but with no car in Paris, I can't use it. At least I have internet again.

Lately I've been asking myself this as I worry that my game is too easy, too straightforward. So I'm wondering, what do you all think makes a good level? Is it enemy placement, difficulty, puzzles, fluidity, what? Maybe I can finally figure out how the better games are just that: better.
