I do its easy!...

You just download PPf o matic v3.0

find the ppf file & download it for what ever rom you want to retexture

Load the rom as a ISO (on ppf o matic 3.0)
and the ppf file as a patch

You can with Toad's Tool 64

Toad's Tool 64: http://homepage.mac.com/qubedstudios/ToadsTool64.htm

You will need to extend your super mario 64 rom (so you can edit it in toads tool 64)

Super Mario 64 Rom Extender: http://homepage.mac.com/qubedstudios/Mario64Tools.htm

This is rather old, but I felt the need to post this for some odd reason.
[I do not have a ips patch or anything of the such; this is old news.]

Note: I no longer need to do this manually, since a guy named "Lin" makes programs to modify the Zelda Oracle games!

majora's mask because it was so annoyingly boring and uneventful.

I loved Majora's Mask.

The time management aspect was an interesting concept.

Majora's Mask is an amazing game. However, the expansion pack was for multiple games to improve the graphics and, I think, fix a few glitches in some games by extending the RAM. However, it can affect games that were produced before it's time, such as Ocarina of Time, negativity by making the graphics worse, etc.

I know of a really good/badass hacker named Lin who makes programs to modify the Zelda Oracles: http://www.youtube.com/user/Linscape99
He's mainly known for his ZOLE (Zelda Oracle Level Editor). Look for his site on his page.

I'm also about to jump from modding N64 games to making programs and learn MIPS and C, so I can make programs to mod games and be a real champ and mess with Opcodes in the 64 games. A good friend of mine, Lee (sure are a lot of L's in here), is into Game Boy modification. I could talk to him about the Zelda Oracles; he too is very good at programming. His YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Souylsin That's his old YouTube and only has Zelda Ocarina of time mods. My YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Vexiant

ANYHOW, away from N64 modding, I'll talk with him about modding the Oracles. And will put making programs for the Game Boy to start me out into consideration.

I do understand that this topic is two-years-old, but it needs to be updated:
>From Fedora Core to Fedora. (along with the link, etc)
>Wine 'should' be added!
>KDE and Gnome need to be known for their RAM usage!
>OpenBox, BlackBox, and other Window managers need to be listed.
>Google Chromium and other browsers need to be listed.
>Pidgin needs to be listed.

Again, sorry for posting in such an old thread, but I really felt the need to post!

I think AMD is better over all, and it's also built for gaming.
Just get a 64-bit dual or quad core AMD processor that runs at about 3.0GHz, and badass motherboard with a ATi chipset, heh.

It suppose to happen in 1994, and some other dates; nothing is going to happen. Man does not know when we'll die or anything like Jesus's coming..

I'm poor and built this piece of shit myself.

Operating system: Xubuntu 11.04
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz without being over-clocked (model 631, final model, I think)
RAM: 1.5GBs (sadly)
HDD's: Xubuntu 160GB, HDD2 80GBs just some extra space
GPU: Built into the south bridge chipset ATi Xpress 200
Drives: DVD+RW dual layer and a foppy drive

Motherboard specs.:
FSB 800MHz
15 ports for USB, SD, etc
Some other bull, etc etc.

All in all, it sucks.

If you could do some assembly modifications, you could add new effects, add animations to things such as enemies, bosses, Link's weapons, Link himself, etc. You just need to learn the opcodes.

There should be an assembler/disassembler for SNES video games somewhere on the internet.

Wait... Why a hex editor? Doesn't the SNES scene have an emulator with debugging features such as memory editor, register viewer, a built in program to set breakpoints? And if their isn't, you should go pro and start making programs in C and setting up a GUI interface on 'em, heh. B-)
Sorry, I've never looked into the SNES hacking scene. I'm just asking.
