Got blending and all that stuff working. So new screenshots.
Tomorrow i'll take a look at material defs seeing as how I now know lighting is controlled in there.

The viewer is officially called MPxViewer.
Revl8n is taking a look at the animation stuff right now, hopefully we can finish CMDL soon, and move on to other things.

There's a surprise at the end XD

Yes, there is more to the inside, it's just that circle textured. We never see inside it...I wonder why they felt the need to texture it




Basic MP2 support.
Material Definitions and other bugs are plaguing MPxViewer for now, support will be added of course.

Honestly i've had enough of the CMDL format, we'll probably get back to eventually, but models render amazingly.

But in this update, you'll see that we have a tree view now, it needs a bit more work. XD

But raw texture viewer is now implemented, and a skeleton viewer is too!

Hello for the past 2 weeks I have been working on a new editor for Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion.

DH was too cluttered and the code was super messy. As I plan to be done romhacking by 2011
I wanted to leave this momento I'll work on it a bit more, but i'd like help.

Not endorsing you to contact him as he might be 'retired' from the MZM/MF hacking scene these days and might feel bugged, but you MIGHT get some help from Interdpth, the creator of Double Helix, the comprehensive MZM/MF editor.
He hangs around #jzd in irc.esper.net. He also has an AIM account but I can't remember what it was.

Samu's sprite is stored in several mini sprites, arms, legs and body are all their own parts, not sure where the OAM data for it is. But that'd contain all the positioning information. I may have it somewhere I can look when I get home.

But it's all rather easy once you get the hang of it.

Hello!

Long ago I had released a tool for hacking Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion. Originally it was called Zero Fission and written in VB6. It was then recoded in C/C++ and called Double Helix, since then it's had bugs and occasional updates.

So today I am proud to announce it will have a coming re-release hopefully to get people hacking these two amazing games. I wanted to show off it's features and hopefully get some sort of fanbase excited to start hacking it. So..without further adue.


This is the basic level editor

Here's out text editor

Minimap editor with room location as the colored rectangle.

Tile editor.

Header Editor(Totally aware of the bug)

Possible Sprite Editor

Tileset importer(Yup)


There's also a room import, export feature and a spriteset editor and a door editor.

I'm hoping for the release before the end of the month. People with strong QA skills that want to test out and give me bug reports are very welcome.

So, I hope this can get some new GBAtroid hackers started!

I am currently in process of documenting Fusion for a ROM/RAM Map. And PJboy told me about debug event names a while back so I asked him for the offset then noticed it's referenced in a function and it looks like it gets passed to a draw function. So from there we got this happening! Find of the Metroid decade!
