Hey. I'm Elementalpowerstar, or more or less, is my "company's" name, so to speak. I call myself Nin10doWii, since I can't very well be called Elementalpowerstar, I figured I needed a different identity than what I used on "Teh Youtbe" as I noob-ish-ly call it.
A bit about me, or my main goal here, since I won't be here for long. Well, I don't know, actually. Maybe I'll make my rounds around the forums a few times and then totally forget about it, like many-a forums I've been to. (Creationsylum, SMWcentral, a few small time boards, Gamefaqs, Newgrounds, etc.) Anyway, back on topic. I try to be professional and make few grammatical errors as possible, since I enjoy correct language in everyday life, but when I do speak in "t3h 1337", I'm usually being sarcastic or over dramatic. I also tend to restrict myself from using terms such as "lol" and replace it with a series of "Ha"s, which is time consuming, as well as space consuming. I also tend to say command lines, or execute multiple imaginary computer files, such as my header and footer. Eh... My main goal here, is to ask about Omega and giangurgolo's Lazy Shell Super Mario RPG Rom Hacking program. Once I grab the copy, I'm outta here for a while. I doubt I'll ever come back, so don't expect me. I won't come up as anyone special. Trust me, it's never happened now, it won't happen here. So hello. Do we support bold and underlined commands? Do we use the greater than/less than or the brackets? (Just noticed header is not functioning properly. Question: Why is the programed named "Lazy Shell" when the screenshots tell of an in-program name as "Super Modify RPG"?
Question: giangurgolo's website claimed the editor hasn't been released due to: Posted by http://giangurgolo.home.att.net/smrpg/ This means that the corresponding hack needs to be finished for the editor to be released, does it not? And details on the length of the hack were never released, or it may have been, I didn't read every post for the last twenty pages or so. Clarification is being asked of you. Aha. Thank you for clarifying.
1: What do you think about a Boss Rush hack? I've been planning out a few details last night, since I don't get much sleep, which is my problem, and would most likely have more use than my idea of: "Fight Culex out of nowhere" hack. 2: So, About an hour, huh? The map(s) created in the "Lazy Shell Hack in Progress" youtube video, will also be in the hack as well? 3: And where will you first release the program? I would like to get a head start on one of the hacks I've had, and I've read over your tutorial, but I haven't found KP9000's tutorial. Hacking Base: Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars
Hack Name: Unknown Plot: Mario goes to save Princess Peach, all seems normal until... He goes to Bowser's Room and he says: "OMGWTF" the camera pans to the chandellers and Culex is there! He claims that Bowser is locked up, and the game will transition to places in the future by itself! So you fight Culex, he's weak at the moment, he didn't start gaining strength until after the sword came down. After you beat him, your launched out of the castle for NO REASON. And the sword jabs itself into the castle, as usual. Once you land in your house, outside, Bowser, Geno, Mallow, and Peach are all there to help you kill Culex again and again. They don't know what's going on, and neither do you, Hell, I don't know what is going on! ...Yeah.., It sounds reeeaaallly stupid as of now. ----------------------------- Hack Name: Boss Rush! Quest to be the Best! Story: After the original story ends, Toad relays a message to Mario: Smithy and his Gang are back for one final Battle! You are immedately given 999 Coins and 999 Frog coins and sent to a shop with the best items at 1 coins each, and 1 frog coin each. Once you leave, you are escorted by flunkies to Mushroom Kingdom, where Mack is there to fight you! Once you win, you are escorted by his minions to fight the next Boss (The bosses go in order.) ...So uh.. that one seems a bit better than before. Posted by DIGIMON EMPEROR I'm, sadly, going to have to agree with DIGIMON EMPEROR on this one: The editor's deadline was supposed to be "Begining of 2008" at first. And now, "the end of 2008." And I'm trying to work with you and be as positive as possible, but I think I can wait to download the hack from Cirrus. You can finish it and release on the server later, or completely restrict use of the server until it's release, I don't generally care. As a new year's gift to the world, Lazy Shell will be said gift. (This is generally just a test of that bot in the Internet Relay Chat channel, but I never found any, and they claimed the all "died" which is understanble, since some people tend to do other things that are more or less entertaining, and this may not be the right area to put them in, but I would rather play one right now, and I'm generally confused on WHY there is an RPG/Posting system on board2, since I don't see the purpose to having it in the first place.
