Erm... there's a panel-aim player 015 and so on to 180. It aims to the player within an angle of x degrees.
I can't work out the move acts, though. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

How about letting PAI08 have parts where the order that they are destroyed affects the next form?
EG.: Variable 1 (V1) is 5. There is Wing L and Plate 4. When plate 4 is destroyed, V1*2. When wing L is destroyed, V1+1. If V1 is 11, power balls turn on. If V1 is 12, the boss morphs into another mode. EDIT: Ah well, I'll try doing that myself. I've successfully changed an energy egg's attack pattern as so. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

Making the last form of a boss imitate a well known bullet hell boss.
-Scenario- Player bashes boss to pieces. 1 last form. "What the... Mushihimesama boss 4?! How do i cope with this?!" -dies- EDIT: That will make it TWO more forms! That just...sucked. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

You should go to the AVG virus vault or its equivalent and get the files out.

No, the deflecting plates do not need to be friendly. they can make pretty bullet deflecting patterns. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

There should be this term added to the Fraxy glossary:
Ebo-Grade: A boss of very high quality. This is the highest grade of any Fraxy boss. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

I'm adding all this to the wiki wishlist.
Good job contributing! 1. A gun that fires a huge ring that slows down when it reaches your (prior) position, attempting to trap you inside. If trapped, follow the slow moving ring until it decays. See Psyvariar 2's Gluon for a better understanding. 2. Something like BSF's Pulsar Gun. 3. A gun that fires once, bends 15 deg, fires again and repeats the process. 4. A device that projects a series of electric nets in your direction. You must move around them. 5. Shots that bounce off other shots. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

How about a way to categorize boss types?
Here's my temporary list; feel free to add on! Worm: Essentially a fighter core with a long 'train'. Example: Kundali Circle: A boss that has a rolling module in a cage. Example: Kinshou Spider: A big thing that moves on a 'rack' Example: Virupaksa Circle Spider: A boss that spins around in a cage. Example: Virupaksa 2 Delta: A boss with 2 angled wings. Example: Virudhaka Top: a boss with a core and a few arms that spins around. Example: Vajrayaksa Cyclic Fighter: A boss that has a couple of modes, repeats them in a pattern and does not change much in looks. Example: Phantom 30K XL Cyclic Fighter: Like Cyclic fighter, but bigger and changes small portions of itself. Example: PAI07: Cerberus Summoner: A boss which can make new parts, copied from old bosses. Example: Zapan. Bullet Hell: Uses dense patterns of varied weapons that require you to either move slowly and methodically, or quickly and without thinking. Example: Almost any of Eboshidori's bosses (Thanks Bukkarooo!) Gradius Core: Anything that looks like a Gradius boss. Example: CrossTheRubicon's Big Core series. Artificial Spellcard: A boss that mimics a Touhou boss. Examples aplenty. Turret: Any boss styled like a turret (The UltiCannons) Miniboss: A midway boss in a try that's somewhat harder (No example) Final Boss: Any boss that could fit into a final boss theme (Reactor-00) Maze: Self-explanatory (Labarynth) Fraxian Style: Based off of, or similar to, another Fraxian's style (The upcoming CX-13: Stannoth) Option Fighter: A small/medium craft that fights with drones beside it. Example: Oneshiningstar's CX-06 - Zig Lethal Core: A core with really nasty attacks. To qualify, must have only 1 core visible - nothing else! Example: A70M1C's Reactor-00: Eye of Destruction Doppelganger : Basically an attempt to realistically mimic player movement in a boss. (EX. Evil Fraxy, Goppeldanger) Squad : A group of relatively weak fighters collaborating in a fight at the same time. (EX. Kamui Squadron) Group : Fighters, each with differences, collaborates in a fight at the same time. (EX. Triple Threat) Spewer : A boss with lack of 360 degree attack coverage, but has a low-degree heavy attack coverage (Max. 180 degrees). (EX. CX-02: Bladed Fury) Mind Rape : Hidden parts ambush the player, the design confuses, and enrages the player. (EX. Border of Technicality and Inanity ~what the hell is this) Trap : You destroy it, and it causes something or it just hinders the hell out of you. (EX. Player Prison, Mosquito Coil) Stationary : No general movement occurs, only joints and panels move small sections of the creation. Tends to get nasty quickly. (Thanks Nutman for the 7 examples here!) Speedkill: The longer you wait, the harder it gets. Example: Reactor 07 - Mechatroid (Final threshold 5 min) Classic Shmups: a boss that acts like a boss fight in a SHMUPS game like 1942. (EX:Cancer 900K) Dash: Like classic Shmups, but it actually moves. If you die, it flies off and you have to catch it. (EX: R-500 Bombay7) Doppleganger overdrive: a more powerful doppleganger (EX: Infinitus) Self-destruction: an absurdely overpowered Doppleganger(EX: Hyper Infinitus (UPCOMING BOSS)) Weapon Rape: Like Bullet hell, except with other weapons. (EX: Beating Core) Revengance: A modified version of a boss. (EX. Omoresu's (Neo)Angelo series) The FINAL final battle: a boss that's intended to be the "second form" of another boss (EX:Arc Legion) Ripoff: A boss thst's clearly a ripoff of another boss(EX. Skelati Deathbot) Toughie: Boss you have a hard time to beat without dying (EX. Any of Onimaru's forms) Unintended Toughie: A boss that is hard, but wasn't meant to be (no example) Conditional Toughie: a boss that goes into Hell Mode if a certain condition is met (EX. Atomic Vault 17) Shocker: Any boss that's so absurd, you can't beat it without dying once (EX. Any of Henry5555's bosses) Progressive Mind Rape: a boss that starts out somewhat easy, but becoms bigger/harder before it gets killed Tetran: any Tetran-styled boss 患部で止まってすぐ溶ける 〜 狂気の優曇華院: Any boss that prevents you from fighting it on rank 1. BREAKOUT / ARKANOID: all visible parts of the boss can be destroyed. (Oneshiningstar's old Lanthantrix series) TRANSFORMER: boss that changes its form with the use of move joints and turn joints. DRONE / SUB-BOSS: small, relatiely weak enemies under 200? parts, which can be used to accompany larger enemies. (Son of Makuta's Parasite) MELEE: bosses that deliberately attack you by colliding with you or making a part crash on you. MAZE: it's a maze. self explanatory. (Labyrinth Core) HUMANOID: a boss in the likeness of a human. (Ebo-Acala) BEAST: a boss in the likeness of an animal/s (AL69's Constellation SCORPIO) VEHICLE: a boss that looks like a ship, plane, tank, etc. (?) FORTRESS: a heavily armed stationary boss that may have drones and fighters guarding it. (Vic Viper's Final Fortress) BLASTER ONLY: a boss that has a covered core which cannot be penetrated by bullets and can only be damaged by blasters. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

That was one really good job with Alltynex. Reminded me of the original fight in the game.
However, the bosses it summoned are 'Guardian X' and 'Scorpio'... Maybe I'll make them soon. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

Well, PAI09 was a very good job. The needle guns really were well down.
However, I wish it would pull off what most Ebo bosses do: Release a drone before going down! ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

I would like Fraxy to be on the Tv Tropes wiki to boost our membership.
However, I need people to help me identify tropes for Fraxy. Please help! ---Tropes Known--- -Macross Missile Massacre -Beam Spam -Turns Red -Bullet Hell -Boss Rush -Braggard Boss (Inverted. Anything that looks small generally does nasty things.) -Wake Up Call Boss (Face it. The bosses shipped with the game are EASY compared to any Ebboshidori boss.) -Everything's Better With Spinning (All the rolling cores.) - Credit Blackhole89 -Game Breaker (Charge Blaster) -Everything Trying to Kill You (Technically) -Nintendo Hard (Some bosses, e.g. almost all of Henny5555's creations.) -Sequential Boss (Bosses that change forms/weaponry over time/when enough HP has been whittled away.) (Credit Aqua) -Shout Out (Artificial Spellcards [Touhou], Cores [Gradius], Fighter craft... Essentially, if it appears in a shmup, you can make it!) -Wave motion gun Please add to the list! ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

I know we have an editor, but since that is not an attack, please do not mention it.
-Question- How does Fraxy take down Touhou's bullet hell? -Known examples- Carnivalis has such a huge laser, it puts Marisa's Final Spark to shame. The former's laser is twice as wide as the latter. -Please add to the list!- ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |

The problem: the core does not go all the way to 2000 frames with its move act.
The Core loops its move act frames. (eg. frames 1->200 then back to 0) Solution: Fill in a negative no. in 'starts move frame.' EDIT: A joint turn 90 can hook up events up to 2000 frames. ____________________ Current Project: Retrospective Kyoto (Guess what's its concept!) |
