Ummm... This is odd. I could've sworn I changed my password, but now it's back to my original one BEFORE I tried to change it. I have to type my new password in the Password field on Edit Profile, right? |

Posted by JrShrooboid It's Count Bleck. (The following is a spoiler about him (somewhat), so...) Spoiler:
Count Bleck is the guy in Super Paper Mario who kidnaps Peach and Bowser and tries to get them married to create the Chaos Heart that will destroy all worlds, and he then wants to make his OWN world, where he rules over everything. Anyways, nice one, Raccoon Sam. |

Oh gosh, not this again! XD
The origins of my username.... A dream. Simple as that. You may remember where my old username, pikaguy900, came from, but this one? Nah, it's new. My dreams are weird. I like being a Yoshi in my dreams. So I made up some new kind of Yoshi called a Phoenix Yoshi. Basically, a cross between the powers of a Phoenix, and the cute Yoshi. And they can live FOREVER. :o If they get killed, they just come back. Like Phoenixes when they die- They burst into flames and are reborn from the ashes.... Though, Phoenix Yoshis don't burst into flames. But... Only ONE THING can truly destroy one for good. ...I won't tell you what that is! I want to live. So yeah. That's where my username came from. |

I know of one. It's actually SIX steps, but...
In TMC, there were 6 Gorons you had to get into a cave. Fuse with one of those two gardening brothers, and one Goron busts through a wall into a cave. There's 5 Mysterious Walls you can fuse with to get 5 more Gorons into the cave. After that, well.... You can fuse with the 6th at the end of the game to get Biggoron to appear at the top of Veil Falls. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it, though.... |

Well, actually.... I'm not sure if he'd accept it, seeing as I'm not really taking part in this... I've just been reading the thread and when I saw that and remember that part about TMC, I just decided to post it, just in case it helped... So yeah. Anyone else think I should e-mail it to him? |

Posted by Drag Hmmm.... Wasn't there 5 tombstones/graves you had to push in Link's Awakening DX to open the Secret Dungeon? Could that have anything to do with it? |

Mine is a play on the "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" thing from that stupid Life Alert commercial. Oh, how I'd love for that commercial to die!
(I want Head-On to die more, though.... ) |

Well, just so you know, I actually like the game really well.... I mean, sure, Yoshi's Island is an island, but think about this: SO ARE ALL THE CONTINENTS. Well, except Asia, Africa (it's technically connected to Asia), and Europe. But all three of those make up the same land mass, which is one huge island. My point is, islands can have diverse ecosystems. I actually LIKE the fact that YIDS has "gritty" areas. It's a nice contrast for the lush, green island we all know (and maybe love). Plus, it's a game. Whoever said games had to make any sense whatsoever?
That said, I think it's a really good game. It's probably right there near the original YI on the SNES. Sure, the levels are pretty easy near the start, but whoo boy, they get hard at World 5. Which is actually good, because I like hard things. Hey, when I get a game these days, I get REALLY disappointed most of the time, because the game ends up being SO easy, I can clear it within just a very few days. I'd rather play a game where it's hard for me to progress much in the story (whether it be hard puzzles, hard enemies, or a REALLY long string of side quests) and it just gets harder and harder and harder. I mean, take a look at Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. I got that game one day (I think it was around 3:00 or so when I got it...), and when I got home, it was around 8:00 or 9:00 when I beat the final boss. L-a-m-e. The game was waaaay too easy with the Tornado ability.... My point HERE is, games these days are getting easier because a: Nintendo thinks that certain Japan-only games (like SMB2J and Treasure of the Rudras) are "too hard" for American audiences. Now, with the Wii out, it's like the new trend is, "Oh, let's make all our games easier so EVERYONE can play them! ". No, Nintendo. That's not how you do it. So yeah. World 5 of YIDS is a welcome change for me. Now if only the REST of the worlds took that difficulty and SLOWLY lowered it LITTLE BY LITTLE going down the Worlds.... Maybe THEN the game would be even better for me. But alas, first Worlds are always easy. That... I condone. After all, why SHOULDN'T first worlds be easy? So there's my 2 cents. Sorry for that little rant I made... |

Again, I'll put forth the whole "Secret Dungeon" idea. Remember, there were 5 Tombstones you needed to push to open it... If I remember correctly. As for hints.... Well... A certain book told you how to get to it... But that was basically one hint, I guess....
And again, anyone want me to e-mail him my TMC Goron idea? |

Also, I have another thing to add...
You say you hate the game because it's too much like the original, but worse. Yet you also complain because they added something new that wasn't in the original... So which do you hate? You can't hate both- It makes no sense. And before you go all, "IT DOES MAKE SENSE!", let me explain... You hate the game because it uses too much of the same stuff from YI on SNES, only it does it worse.... But then you turn around and say that you ALSO hate it because it added in a Kangaroo? What do you want it to do, look EXACTLY like YI on the SNES so you can say it looks unoriginal? Sorry if that's rude, but that's how I see it- You've got clashing reasons for why you hate it... and that's not a good thing... |

Posted by fabio Hey, don't flame me. It's the honest truth. I love this game SO much. The game does not stink one bit, to me. I enjoyed YI, and I sure as heck enjoy YIDS. This isn't a matter of truth, it's a matter of opinion. Remember, what one person thinks about something isn't always the same as what another person thinks. So... Thank you for NOT respecting my opinion. (Now if only I could remember how to get the stupid "mad" smilie to work... XD) Edit: My bad, one of my sentences conveyed more of a "this is FACT" vibe instead of a "this is my opinion" one.... So, fixed... |

For some odd reason, every so often, Firefox will load the wrong icons for certain things. For example, at PureZC's forums, Firefox will load the icon for the "" smilie with the one used by the "" smilie. I have to clear my Cache (and sometimes even my COOKIES!) in order to fix that, and it's really beginning to get on my nerves, as when it's messed up like that, I have to quote a post to figure out what the person is REALLY trying to convey... I'm using the latest version, BTW. Is there any way I can fix this PERMANENTLY? The method I use only works temporarily...
(Also, if it makes any difference, I didn't get this problem in IE at all, and when I installed Firefox, I chose to load the stuff from IE so I didn't have to set it up all over again.... You know, with all the websites I go to, the accounts I use... Stuff like that.) |

Hmmm.... Why yes, I do...
I have: -Download Statusbar -Adblock Plus -That extention that already comes with Firefox (I just turned it on) Also, I have two themes besides the original: -Acid Burn v1.3a2 (which I am currently using, though I want a Mario- or Zelda-themed... theme) -OldFactory Black v 2.1.0 Which of these could be the problem? |

Posted by Peardian I like that. ....Says Count Bleck. XD I couldn't resist. I like how you made him shake his head when you click on the "No?", just like he does in SPM... Neat... Make him cackle and stuff! Maybe make him vanish like he does in SPM? |

Hmm... I didn't see a "bookmark.html" file at all, but...
Think it could be because I alwaus use at least two tabs, one for this site and one for another place I frequent? I'm beginning to think that when I have two tabs open, it's trying to load from the other tab or something when I switch tabs... It's like just having more than one tab open screws with the icons and stuff... Thoughts on my theory? (If this is true, then maybe it needs to be reported... How would I report it?) Edit: Nevermind.... The problem's back for the third of fourth time again TODAY.... It's never happened this often before... This is like, the sixth or seventh time it's happened since I got Firefox... Almost makes me want to go back to using the very-lame and soul-stealing IE.... But I don't want to do that... |

Wait a minute. If all we need to do is figure out where the Triforce was located in OoT....
I remember that it was said that the question mentioned rumors around the internet about how to get it. The most infamous one? That odd screenshot of Link opening a chest and getting it.... Which, if I remember correctly, was supposedly in a beta version of a 3-D remake of Level-1 from TLoZ! Could this be the answer? In the Beta Dungeon? |

Mine's kinda plain and simple. (However, I highly doubt you'd want the full story, with ALL the message boards I've been to... )
So I'm a Zelda Classic nut, thanks to some friend from another message board (which, by the way, stinks royally with super-uptight rules....). Browsing around the fan website, PureZC, when I see a topic about.... Lunar Magic. (This... is kinda where it gets fuzzy. I don't really remember it all very well. ) I think. Anyways, I get it, and I find.... SMW Central, looking for hacking stuff... I think... Anyways, I stick around there for a while, and I see links to Acmlm's Board, 3rd incarnation, I think. I lurked there for a little while, just reading all the threads the SMW Hacking section had to offer.... I finally registered... And that... is how I found Acmlm's Board. Now if it's THIS place you want to know about, let's go further.... So we have that faction split.... I'm still at the ||board... Wondering what happened (Not gonna go into my thoughts on it.. ).... I found a thread in the Pit of Despair.... I look in it, find the link to here. Huzzah, that's how I found Acmlm's Board II. (I even quit going to the other board when I came here. Go ABII.) ...Too much info, huh? Oh well. |

I say, it's BOTH!
Also, lol at the fact that both Kirby AND Peardian get to see Sonic and Tails. Ah, those guys.... When will the cruel space-time continuum quit sending Kirby to them? DEM ALIENS ARE TAKING OVER THEIR WORLD! (Yes, I just HAD to say that. Looking good, MM. Keep up the good work... ...Wait, why is the story not progressing? ) |

Posted by tyty210 Sorry to burst your bubble, but I tried that already. I tried using hex to change a block to spawn a Yoshi egg that turns a different color depending on its X-position, but it STILL turned into a Green Yoshi egg. In fact, at the address for what sprite the Yoshi Egg Block spawns, you'll find that same Sprite's number... So yeah, unless someone makes a custom sprite Yoshi egg that's always the same color no matter what AND someone is able to get a Block to spawn Custom Sprites, then this is virtually impossible for now... But it's still a nice idea. It's just... a bit too hard right now. |

Okay, here's the way I see it:
Five steps five hints is the clue, right? A few people e-mails Okibi about this, and were told they were on different steps. That means they were talking about different things, and were thus, working on different steps. ..Basically, it's kinda obvious that what needs to be done is to find these little extra hints okibi gave us, solve them, and put them together the right way to get the answer. I mean... Don't you think that with the 5 steps being our 5 hints, each step contributes something to the answer? Now I gotta look back at all the steps to see if any extra hints were given... |
