not sure how helpful this would be, but I've got another graphics set I could make available for anyone who wants to use it for this project

I think I have the code and notes somewhere...
I've been sitting on this for a few months, just never had the chance to get an avi of it. Might as well note that the ASM for it isn't compatible with sprite tool, i.e. it has to be inserted manually :/ This is because autoscrollers are handled completely differently from normal sprites. |

This is just an unused sprite from SMW which changes the level header from horizontal to vertical, afaik.
Also, there is another unused scrolling sprite in SMW which scrolls first from the right to the left, after some screens goes smoothly up and then from right to the left again. It's really not hard doing a simple auto scroll from right to left though. EDIT: From top to bottom shouldn't be hard either. Though, combining them will be tricky, imo. EDIT2: A video of the scrolling: |

The harder part was just debugging it and documenting all the RAM that was used. They'd be easier to make now that I know what the various RAM addresses actually do.
Also, I could probably do a full-square autoscroller fairly easily. |

It's never too late, admittedly this project been kinda on ice for the last few months but... I might pick it up again.
Need to talk about Sukasa before I do that though, so I get a up to date base ROM and all. ![]() ____________________ AIM: gamefreak1337, MSN: Emil_sim@spray.se, XMPP: ailure@xmpp.kafuka.org

For the record guys, the Baserom isn't needed to do anything. Although it has a bunch of little hacks to make it easier to design levels, there's nothing saying you need to have them to make any levels or such. |

..Can we get a sound-off of everyone who's still interested in working on this? There's been good progress behind the scenes, but one thing we still don't have is level contributions that have gotten through ![]() |
