Go on.
Find a game you wouldn't usually play (for me, RPGs). Turn it on. Sit a while, see how it goes. See how it is. I've been doing that with some SNES RPGs lately, and when you have a friend with you for commentating and doing all of the "level grind bullshit" (that is, run around holding A) it makes the game a lot more fun (I like the story parts  )
I actually played (and beat!) SD3 and FF6 this way. Fun games, those. (SD3 moreso, since there was less annoying level grinding) So go on, I dare you ____________________ I dealt with it. |

I'm in the same boat as you guys <<... RPGs. Especially MMOs. I tried a trial of WoW. I really didn't enjoy it that much. I guess I could attempt RO like the rest of you.  ____________________ |

Hmm... I've tried quite a few genres, but tend to stick to RPGs and simulation games. I generally go off and play other, more "arcade-y" games when I'm short on time, but those are my preferred genres. So I suppose trying a new game would be just something I don't play much, like FPSs and strategy games. Yeah, I know, opposite of everyone else that's posted so far. Or, perhaps, trying to actually get somewhere in a roguelike. I have a low amount of patience when it comes to permadeath. ____________________ What sig? I don't have a sig.  |

I've been playing more FPSes recently, since my dad borrowed Gears of War and my friends have the Halo 3 beta. Like I expected, I'm no good at them, especially in multiplayer. |
