As much as I'd like not to, I'm going to have to ask for some help here. And it's 100% not based on actual gameplay. Instead, it's loading the game at all.
With each new version, I have to load up the game in FullScreen, then switch to Windowed for better value, due to an odd ratio with FullScreen format. However, I cannot even see those white words before the loading screen before the program crashes on itself for an unknown reason.
I'm thinking, probably, that simply getting an Options file that loads up in Windowed format will be an easy save from this, but would someone make one? Please.

Sure the fact that it doesn't work isn't the April Fool's joke?

There's an entire thread about its secrets in their forums.

No way is it fake. It's seems like...the minature hit-of-the-town there.

Yes it does work (being that I am on their art crew). Did you try redownloading it?

I downloaded Mirror 1, downloading Mirror 2 as we speak.

Nope, still the same thing. My computer is worse than the school's computers, so, yeah, mine's bad. I still think that windowed mode will fix the problem, though.

It works for me fine. The only thing wrong with it is a bug in the programming that causes the water animation to appear over some layers above it.

Hm? Not sure why you say that, so I'll state my problem again, or at least try to make it clearer.

Once the program is activated, the screen goes black, just like all my full-screen games do. After about 10 seconds of black, I get a window saying that the program has experienced errors and needs to close.
I'm thinking it's just the fact that it's trying to load in full-screen, so loading in windowed mode shouldn't be a problem, right?

I've always load mine full-screen. All I can think of is redownload it. Other than that, sorry.

...I said what I thought would fix it already, want an explanation?

After changing to windowed format in-game on another computer, quit and find the Options file in its folder. Copy this onto the internet and send to target using standard means, such as e-mail or file storage. Then I can do the rest.
Get it? Send me the Options file with Windowed format turned on using an e-mail provider or an online storage site.
(Should be simple...right?)

Dammit, you're right. The official 1.7 Build works both ways (Fullscreen and no), so I don't know anything anymore. Is there something that it needs that the previous brand didn't? Because possibilities always turn out endless.

------Edit------
...oh god dammit. The only reason it broke was due to me moving the folders from the previous version into the new version. Fixed the problem, and the game works now.
