I begin this thread by saying "Tanks  "
I posted about this the last time it happened too. Xkeeper decided to remove tunabot's catgirl functions last year, but with the advent of the new board her catgirl side returned. However, due to Tanks's comments in #rohmacking, Tina is once again without a personality of any kind (except the false one that everyone who abuses her 8ball function tries to force on her  ).
So once again I am making a thread protesting the removal of what makes Tina more than just another generic bot that happens to be connected to this board. I ask that Tina be brought fully back, despite the naysayers who want her to be little more than a servant who reports on the board and the weather. Who else here agrees? |

MillyBot2 has effectively replaced her anyway, so there's no point to bringing her backk... ____________________ I dealt with it. |

Posted by XkeeperThe only reason MillyBot2 was brought in was because Tina had crashed and !startbot didn't work. It wasn't meant to be a permanent replacement. |

Acmlm still had Radmin access, and... bleh.
Besides, I don't want to kicking his bot and it doesn't mak emuch of a difference, to Tina's use has pretty much gone from "reporter" to "nothing" :\ ____________________ I dealt with it. |

But Tina's the mascot of the board... Really, my original intention was to ask you to add a few more things for her to say... all her personality is, is juast four repeating lines... give her a alot more phrases.

Flurry #&postrank& If I remembered how to fix it from RAdmin, maybe I'd have done that ... but then Tina died like that a lot lately (sometimes switching to #acmlm2), while mine only does when I get disconnected (which could probably be fixed too)  ____________________ |

Honestly, I don't know why it screws up so much; mIRC doesn't handle sockclose very well, I guess. I've been meaning to make it better (using sockets instead of just browsing to a webpage), but until I can figure out how to disable max_execution_time, I'm screwed...  ____________________ I dealt with it. |
