I haven't personally been in a fist fight, not really much of a fighter.

But there was one time in my neighborhood when a dimensional vortex opened up for no real reason. Some really vile aliens or some shit came out and started flying in patterns and shooting at timed intervals and came in droves. They blew up some landmarks and took a base down the street on some person's house.

Some battleships of some type came through and released more fighters, they looked semi-organic, pretty advanced stuff. Even so, us and the neighbors got really ticked off at them and decided that this was unacceptable behavior from guests, especially unwelcomed ones.

We didn't have any long-range weapons, so we did the next best thing. We brought out all of our secret and illegal bio-technology weapons and equipment, including souped up fighters bristling with weapons and loaded with shields, support organic pods able to absorb energy, and endless missiles.

So all 30 or so of us went out and kicked all of their asses in 15 min. Then to prove the point, we went to their homeworld and blew up their defenseless organic brain. Before leaving though, they sent an armored four armed thingy out but we ruined its shit. Then we nuked the planet and went home.

After hiding our stuff away, we decided to have a block party and we ended up getting totally smashed. Just another day in the neighborhood. Good times... =)

Graxy was an April Fools joke only playable using the "beta" and only on April 1. It's a giant Try that recreated most of Gradius V stage 1.

There is a preview for the next update on the Fraxy main page. No new parts added, but some new Try functions and other new things. I think the "401 Mode" will become available.

Here is my entry for March: The Nanoxian Starbase

Fly in and blow the crap out of this evil starbase! It has heavy defenses and lot's of weapons, but great skill and endurance will see you through.

On another note, I "posted" an idea on the Wiki, Chance Bosses, which I'll guess is making bosses that have a great deal of player chance involved in them.

If the whole thing becomes intangible, then the main Core does as well. This will result in a self-destruct. There must be at least 1 Core "active", that is Normal (not Hidden or Shadowed) and not invincible (have Durability of -1).

Which one do think is useless? The Wiki or the board2 one? Regardless, the one on the Wiki is there as the ultimate reference for the world to see. It's on here as a secondary reference and so people who are registered here can notify that they exist and the list can be updated.

In case anyone cares, there is a small tutorial on getting to the channel on the front page of the Wiki. Of course, if you're registered here, one can use the "IRC Chat" from here.

Actually, I'll update that page to include instructions on how to get there using board2's IRC client.

1) One doesn't know how to use IRC.

Does anyone want an Obituaries/Tributes page on the Wiki?

Although it may be of bad taste, we could have a page that highlights those whom we think of as influential to the communities and to Fraxy in general. This could als be tied to the History page, assuming that idea is accepted also.

We want the Compendium Redux to be the ultimate source of information for all things Fraxy and I think that something like this and a dedicated History page would be a very good idea.

Please post your opinions on this. =)

Even though this thread hasn't gotten the activity I expected it to get, I suggest that it gets stickied because of it's purpose.

This thread is for suggestions for the improvement of the Wiki. This can be fixes, new pages, possible formats, etc.

Unless there is another single thread here that fulfills this role better, this is why I'm making this suggestion for the thread.

Although the Wiki is going well, it still can be improved. All improvements are for the ultimate benefit of the users, both registered and unregistered. I have been a little disappointed by the lack of communication concerning Wiki improvements as I usually see suggestions for them off-hand. If there were a central location for these, then work on those issues/suggestions can be done faster as we'll know about them quicker.

Perhaps this thread should be stickied and/or have a thread dedicated to video related issues (making, problems, suggestions, etc.) since I haven't really seen anything close to such.

The more I look (and others I'm sure), posting videos on video sites like YouTube, Revver, Dailymotion, and Google Video is becoming very prevalent especially concerning Fraxy. There may be some who might want some stuff on video making in general and it would be beneficial to have something like that here.

For some reason, I feel more productive today. I suspect it has to do with the fact that I got up early today and had something unexpected happen, have a major project due at the end of the month, wanting to work on the Wiki, and wanting to work on my Fraxy entry for this month. Very odd but ultimately a good thing.

Although not a Redux suggestion...

The Academy definitely needs a board of their own. As I suggested before, merging with the "Unofficial Fraxy board" would be in the Academy's best interest as it not only includes those members, but gives them a bigger presence and gives the Academy a base of operations so to speak. At the very least, a board for them is necessary. Good luck =)

Just on looking at the pics, Polyphemus reminds me of IT, the final boss of The Guardian Legend, and Argus looks like an evil jester with ram horns. All in all awesome designs, nice job with that.

Hello and welcome. To answer your questions...

1) You gain gold and experience by posting.

2) The stats and whatnot "improves" you like any good RPG but...

3) ...The RPG system here is not fully implemented yet, in the sense that as far as I know does nothing for you save for Level which is kind of a reflection on your total amount of posts.

Although you may have a point with the need of a "newbie section". Then again, the philosophy here may be "explore and post reasonably, but have some fun".
