It's not bad. The only thing that I don't like is that almolst all of the levels are in the same place as it was in the original (with a few exceptions). I also notice that level 6 has no point as it can be skipped without taking an alternate route (this is okay though if you plan to put some sort of bonus item in this level).

P.S. I would recomend Image Shack or Photo Bucket for hosting images as it doesn't put that text at the bottom.

To be fair, in the original, you could've skipped 1-3 and 1-4 if you didn't care about Toad's House. Not like optional levels are new to SMB3.

So I just came across a sparkling new-ish laptop (Averatec 3150P) at a thrift store. $300 plus tax later, it's at home, and I'm trying to get it to connect to the wireless network here. It's running XP Pro, SP2. So, I've got wireless networking all ready to go, right? Well, I hit "Connect" in XP's wireless networking... nothin'. The network isn't secured (and no, I'm NOT telling you where I live so you can leech), so it should just connect. But all it does is sit there and try to connect, only to fail. What should I be doing?

It already says it's preferred. Not like there's any other options, either. Although sometimes, it doesn't find the network as being available, either. (shrug) I think it had a driver for some USB wireless adapter on it, too. No clue what's going on.

Horribly bad taste, but I just HAD to post this.

(sing to the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" theme song)

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute to talk off-stage
And tell you how I became the victim of a thing called roid-rage.

In the pro wrestling industry, born and raised,
Choking other men is how I spent most of my days.
Headbuttin', cross-facin', as a technical king,
All while shootin' some steroids outside of the ring.
When I got an iPhone, I was up to no good.
Skipped a match and flew back to my neighborhood.
I took one too many roids, my wife gasped for breath,
I said "Stop moving your little ass while I choke you to death!"

I whistled for my son and when he came near,
He still had "Fragile-X" and the physique of a queer.
If anything I could say that this kid was rare,
But I thought "Nah, forget it" and deprived him of air!

I went down to the gym around 7 or 8,
And I yelled to myself "Yo Chris, smell ya latah!"
Hung myself to death, at a very young age,
Now I'm burning in hell, all because of roid-rage.

YOU'RE FIIIIIIIIRED

Try downloading and reinstalling the original drivers. If there's software available from the wireless card manufacturer try using that instead of the built-in XP software.

Due to a bit of dumbassery on my part (why would a reputable site such as one that dishes up no CD patches ever think of scanning for Trojans?) I finally got on here using said laptop and an actual Ethernet cord, and I'm downloading the drivers as I speak.

Developing...

UPDATE: Nope. Turns out I uninstalled something, but now it still won't connect.

My other computer (which now has a trojan, and I'm trying to fix that) has no trouble connecting to this network. Also, there's no 2.4 GHz cordless phones in the house so that's out.

np: Rammstein: "Stripped"

As per AMG: "Of course, it doesn't quite answer the question of whether a Depeche Mode tribute album was necessary, but almost all tribute albums are unnecessary." In case you couldn't tell, that was in reference to For the Masses, which came out back in 1998. I'm still trying to make sense of why they'd have the Cure cover "World In My Eyes" seeing as that's like asking the Rolling Stones to cover "Ticket to Ride" or some shit, but it works. Also, who were the ad wizards that plopped friggin' DISHWALLA on here? (They did "Policy of Truth" and sounded embarrassingly close to Depeche Mode.) But there are several good covers on this album, and this album-closer is one of them. I mean, it also proves that Till Lindemann should never, ever sing in Engilsh... AGAIN, but I'll be damned if they don't go out there and make the song their own.

Oh, and Failure continues to be an embarrassment on the music industry in general. Thanks for raping "Enjoy the Silence", assholes!

(Clarification: They make "Enjoy the Silence" sound like a Failure song... the problem being that Failure's songs aren't very good at all. MAYBE the guitar tones once the obligatory post-chorus "all right, now's when we kick your ass" bit are useful, but... I've got nothing else positive to say about it. But hey, if you can find the album for $1.50, like I did, go get it.)

Hey, did you know Wikipedia is part of the vast left-wing conspiracy? And so is YouTube, if an email I got at work is to be believed?

There's politics, and then there's being a moonbat.

Also, to that end, back when my autoreply was "No." while away... Scott (mom's BF, who I'm also living with at the moment) took it as a flat out "No" to him and got angry, it took me a while to realize he got my auto-response and explain to him

And that's why you need away messages that make sense and explain things. Such as Ichiro making fun of Cleveland, or someone's thoughts on the Founding Fathers kickline in 1776 (your favorite musical comedy based on the battle to get the then-colonies to declare independence).

(Editor's note: This means nothing unless y'all have my screen name... which I can't add to my profile.)

Another really cool idea is you should have a Super Mario Bros 3 Peach And Daisy version where they save Mario instead. And for this mode use a Pink P and Yellow D.

So that's another version. I was going to call it Super Peach Sisters 3.

That would be cool.

A Super Peach Sisters Trilogy that roll reverses. (From Super Mario Bros 1 - 3.

Uh, grab a tile editor and roll your own. Nothin' more rewarding.

Built-in firewall with XP, and AVG anti-virus and anti-spyware. But you want a QFT? Here's your QFT, and a bit of FTW.

The best anti-virus? Common sense.
