1633: Spending my time on the internet because I can't think of anything to do, and then later, I realise something much better I could've been doing in that time. Drives me nuts.

I use simple variations of a concept as my password, so I never have to write them down or anything, just remember "Oh yeah, this is the place that I did THAT with it." I have a good associative memory like that, if I can remember an event related to information, I can remember the information.

And I never, ever use password remembering things. I don't trust them, and I've got an incredibly nosey younger brother, it wouldn't surprise me if he tried to get into some of my accounts if he's angry at me, even though I have a seperate computer.

Mine was just a random name I thought up that I thought sounded cool. I'm not very good with names, so this was about as original as it would get(kinda sad). Of course, now sometimes people get the idea that I think I'm superior when I join a new forum, annoying. That's the reasoning behind the title, to get that out of people's heads. Although I've been at Acmlm's for a long time, I wasn't always around, and new members do appear.

Whenever I BSODed it was because of problems with my graphics or sound drivers, and that was barely ever, an update solved the problems each time. XP runs fine for me. Although speaking of hardware companies, yeah, they're all pretty much evil now. It seems the only way not to get screwed when buying a computer is to build it yourself.

I pronounce Acmlm Ack-umm-ullm. Although at first I mispronounced it like it was Acmlmlm ("Ack-mull-mullm"), for some reason. I don't think that this one should be closed, since that one is almost two months old.

ITT we list reasons why Craziness Domain should be renamed to Boringness Zone

All the threads in here are JOKES. Everything can happen here. (I think.)

Not everything can happen here, but there are very few things that can't. A butter-based thread is a testament to what crazy little things can thrive in this demented land that we call fish.

I'm dissapointed already, notice the return of the "Magic Book" storyline. I hated that story, I really did. It was a major let-down after FFT's awesome political one, and here it comes again. Bleah. If the gameplay is fixed a bit maybe it won't be too bad (I found FFTA much... slower than the original for some reason, it got boring after a while, while I can go back and play the first again and again), but I sure won't be enjoying the storyline.

My posts tend to either be short and to the point, or sometimes, they get overly long and sprawl out over a huge space. I tend to type first, and separate text later, if I make a long post, I need to, otherwise it's just one huge block of text, and no one wants to read that. Smilies I'll use if I feel like it, and if the conversation fits it, I'd almost never use a smily in the debate forum, for example, they just don't fit there. As for spellings, I use American spellings, and "gray" and "grey" are interchangable to me, so I could use either. Also, as you see, I kinda abuse the comma a bit.

I don't listen to music that often, so my alarm is set to the radio, works better than an annoying bleeping sound. As for not being woken up past 12:00, I'm the same way, except I'd like to wake up sometime before 11:00, I like my days to have atleast 12 hours in them, and I sleep at 11 if I need to go to school the next day, so yeah.

I too drew levels on paper for a long time, and I screwed around in excitebike too. Then, I happened to find Zelda Classic, and stuck with that for a long time, making some games, some were crap, some weren't, all were lost when my computer crashed. I decided to search for something similar for either mario or final fantasy (forget which), this led me to the acmlm.overclocked.org site, from which I promptly downloaded every editor available and started screwing around immediatly(I had already been into emulation for about a year at the time so I had all the games I used to play on the NES already, this reminds me of star tropics, I should attempt to hack that game) later on, I discovered the forums, and here I am.

Well, I had been screwing around making stuff with Zelda Classic, and searched google for something similar but for mario or final fantasy (don't remember which, we're talking three years ago here) this lead me to acmlm.overclocked.org, which lead me to the forums (2nd incarnation at the time), and I popped in and out over the last three years. I decided to come back again, saw the mess that was ||board, and decided to head over to romhacking.net instead, where I checked the links section, and found this board, my entire story relating to acmlm's.

So, you stopped halfway through Chapter 3?

Of FFT? No, I played the game all the way through, and I enjoyed the storyline very much so. The story was great, and one of the best aspects of it was the politics, which were a large part of the storyline. They weren't the entire storyline, especially near the end, but would the end have ever happened had it not been for the political aspect?

FFT had a comparatively complex and intricate storyline. I expected a storyline of similar complexity with FFTA, but instead I got the crappy "Magic Book turns town into video game land!" plot. Which makes me sad. I tried to enjoy FFTA, at least for it's gameplay, but it just wasn't near the quality the original was.

maybe they will go head-hunting.

I doubt it, if they delete posts about cheating, it seems like they're trying to pretend it doesn't happen, and even if they did, what could they possibly do? It's not like people are breaking any law by making cheat codes. This does suck though, I hope the amount of cheaters has been exaggerated, otherwise, no MP: Hunters wifi for me.

To Pac: Great, although the mix of YI and non-YI graphics in the 2nd shot looks kinda weird.

To Yoshi Master: That background looks pretty cool, I really like the clouds Probably one of the more original backgrounds I've seen.

The new pics look great, door editor and enemy viewer both look easy to use. However, I have a question, all these new shots are mostly of Zero Mission, how's Fusion editing coming along?

Sometimes my phone alarm just doesn't go off.
Or does it go off, and you wake up just enough to shut it up and immediately go back to sleep without remembering the incident, thus waking up later wondering why it didn't go off? This happens to me often. I ask someone why they didn't wake me up and they tell me they did 3 times.

Yeah, sometimes I do that to my alarm, I get up, turn it off, and go back to sleep and I wake up late and don't remember turning it off at all. And speaking of waking up without the alarm, if I'm not dead tired, I'll usually wake up 5-10 minutes before my alarm goes off, no matter what time my alarm is set to. If my alarm is off, I won't wake up early, but if it's on, I'll wake up a few minutes before it goes off.

I've played 1-5 (2 and 5 I haven't completed) and here are my thoughts:

Level 1: Pretty good level. I have no major problems with it, but it didn't stand out either. Up to the second moving platform it's my first SMB3 level with more coinblocks

Level 2: Blarg, annoying. You don't really stand much of a chance coming into this level small do you? Never bothered to complete it, not worth a toad-house.

Level 3: I like me this level. Good challenge without being too hard. That mushroom in the middle of the Lakitu attack is perfectly placed, good job.

Level 4: Meh overall, 1/2 the level can be skipped with properly timed flying, but so can many levels like this, the idea of using hidden blocks to continue like that is good, but their placement is awkward, unless you mash A you're likely to be sent off the screen to your death.

Level 5: Okay so far, but continuing is a problem due to this:

As you can see, the shell is stuck in that diamond shaped opening, it circles around and around it, and jumping down results in death, the same thing happens with the upper diamond, but that you need to walk straight into it instead of dropping onto it. To get to this point, you must be small, or you're stuck(another problem that's already been pointed out) so basically, you need to drop down on the shell, and maybe it won't kill you, I'm not sure, I haven't lived through it yet.

Overall, there are some interesting ideas in some of these levels, (Level 2 I would suggest for use as a later game concept), but there are some problems that need to be fixed, otherwise, great hack so far.

1735. When AOL crashes.

1736. AOL in general. So glad I don't use it anymore, it sucked, it sucks and it always will suck. AIM, however, is good. It amazes me that the same people are responsible for them both.

If you look in the username thread, you'll see I said that some people got the idea that because I chose the name "TheGreatGuy" I thought myself superior to them, the title is meant to counteract that effect, so I don't have to explain it to new people who think that.
