How can you call Double Dash underrated? I can't think of anyone that didn't like the game. It was very well received, too.
And I agree with DarkSlaya about Wind Waker. I liked the game, but many more people didn't. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

So, I built this Scenario, just to see how well the computer players play with each other at max difficulty, and I must say, it's been quite... entertaining.
Scenario setting is this: Player 1 (that's you) occupy the bottom right half of the map. This player gets an unfair advantage because the purpose is not to actually conquer, but to observe. If played long enough, the player may wish to go ahead and conquer the last surviving computer player, but this is not necessary. Players 2-4 (that's them) are on separate, locked teams in the top left half. Each area is separated by trees. They each have an equal amount of everything, and should be able to work themselves out quite well. Because they are on separate locked teams, they WILL attack each other. A large buffer of trees separates these three players from Player 1, so that they may fight for as long as possible before attacking Player 1. I played through the scenario once, not as a test, but as an actual game. I set the difficulty to Hardest, and played with a visible map (rather than unexplored). I set all of the races to Random, so that it would be a more enjoyable experience. I also recorded the game using the game's in-program recorder. I played through to a certain point and saved it, then quit, so the save game and the recording nearly line up perfectly. I am going to provide all three files so that you can see how it works, and also experiment with it a little if you want. Note that this is not an example of good scenario making. Please do not try and copy my style... Also, the playing style of the recording is also definitely NOT the best way to play. I took my time, and sometimes appear to not be doing anything at all. Since I was in no imminent danger, I set up several lines (heh) of defenses just for the heck of it. I mostly just tried to have fun with it. Here's the Recording. You load it up like any saved game. Just a warning, though, the download is 11MB and watching it may take in excess of three hours. I highly suggest you watch it in Fast Forward, as then it might not take so long... Here's the Save Game. I highly suggest watching the recording before loading this up, unless you want to just stare with your jaw agape as you witness the horrid designs I conjured up in making the recording. Here's the Scenario. You can load it into the map editor to take a look, or just boot it up to have fun playing. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

I couldn't tell you if we've got a Springfield RD. here, but there's a pretty good chance it would work. I'd never do it, but it's still a pretty good chance... ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

That's too bad. You'd have done better with an Adamant or a Brave one. Either way, the Attack increase is welcome, and you really shouldn't be using any Special attacks with that low a Special Attack stat anyways. Also, Brave would work because it's not exactly winning any Speed records, maxing at Base 56 Speed on Torterra.
For the record: Adamant - +Atk, -Sp. Atk Brave - +Atk, -Spd ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Posted by AlexAR It's a process called an IV Battle. Wi-Fi battle someone using autolevel to 100, then write down the stats. Run from battle and look them up with an IV calculator. Very simple proceedure. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

I, unfortunately cannot join a game this week. I'm involved in my church's Vacation Bible School, as one of the Area leaders. My entire week is basically shot as far as any other plans I may have wanted to do, but oh well... ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Over the past week or so, one of the three fans in this computer has decided to go from hardly making a sound to very loud. I have no idea why though. Last night I opened up the case and used compressed air to clean all of the fans off and get all the dust out of it (it still smelled a little of smoke, even though my dad quit over a month ago and no one else does in this house ). Even though I did that last night, the sound still persists. I'm sure that it's not the power supply fan or the CPU fan, as they are both blowing a steady stream of air out of the case. The only one left is the fan on the Video Card. It's an ATI Radeon X700 Pro, purchased shortly after the release of Civilization IV (whenever that was). It never made a sound until recently, and I'm kind of worried that it might die soon due to fan failure. I can't afford to get a new Video Card for the moment, so does anybody have any ideas as to what the problem is and what might fix it? ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

I just read two words that don't belong in the same sentence; Wi-Fi and dialup...

Well, whats stupid is that shortly after clicking submit, the noise died down and wasn't nearly as loud as I've heard it in the last few days. Also, I so poor I can't even afford replacement fans, and if I could, I'd probably get the wrong one somehow...
(Actually, the CPU fan is the only replaceable one, anyways. The others would either need to be a new video card, or a new power supply.) ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

If this continues for any amount of time, it's going to ruin a lot of Brain Teaser games (I'm looking at Mafia here)... ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

This one is for fans of WoW. Even if you aren't, it's still funny as hell.
This one is a LEGO version. Also funny as hell. It also helps that this songs is quite simply the best song ever. Enjoy! ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

I wasn't planning on posting much for as long as the experiment went on, but I suppose this is alright.
I've been alright, I guess. Last night of VBS, and I'm glad it's over. Just have to go through the presentation tonight, then a free dinner. Maybe next year I won't be available to help... ~MaxKnight ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Well, I only posted a little bit during the experiment. It's not that I would have acted stupid or anything (in fact, the exact opposite), but it's more like 'sit back, relax, and watch the fireworks' type of thing. ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |

Although we keep it set to 72, it really varies from room to room. It's also hard to check, as we don't keep thermometers around the house... ____________________ My current complication: Girl's name who gets no more than 10 minutes of screen time in the actual game. |
