Incase you guys didn't know, the script of one of this guy's "plays" was put up online. I'll see if i can get a link to it. Its kinda disturbingly violent (and badly written at that).

Sad thing is everyone knew this kid was pretty messed up but no one was able to reach him.

You know, I still don't see how a double murder with the suspect not in custody doesn't warrant a lockdown. Stupid, stupid choice.

Ever hear of an "isolated incident?"

Sadly, double murders are not so uncommon that they warrant a lockdown; and especially rarely are they ever quickly followed by additional murders, not to mention 30-man rampages.

I'm guessing nobody wanted to "reach him." Would you want to? (And by that I meant the people in his classes and professors, not counselors, which he was required to see.)

"Youd thing after the first classroom that every other one would have heard it and booked it. And how did noone see him walk in?"
Yeah, if I hear a bunch of shooting in the classroom next to me, the last place I want to be is running down the hallway as the shooter emerges. "Hey look, a sitting duck!" Bam, I'm dead. No, I think I'll stick to trying to prevent him from entering the room.

Also, it's a residential college of 27 000 people. That's, like, a small town. How the hell do you lock it down? Do the people in their dorms stay where they are or do they leave the college?

Heard about this almost right after it happened, and I live in Canada, so word spreads.

It's just sick when you think about it, but sadly, this is what some people do nowadays. And I mean .. his poetry was just ... disturbing.

Oh, did anyone else see that whole dispute on American Idol with Simon Cowell apparently "rolling his eyes" at the VT tragedy? That was .. a joke

It is a shame there is no message behind this shooting. Though I must say, he must be good to be able to hide from the police till the lockdown lifted.

My sympathies are with all who died that day (Even Cho).

From what I've heard, the students didn't realize they were gunshots immediately. They thought it was someone banging on the wall, or construction outside, or something more innocent. I imagine I wouldn't immediately think of gunshots either.

Maybe he was thinking in his head stuff like "there are so much worse things going on but these Americans don't give those issues any real importance."

Or not.
