This is just a thread I thought of, where you could share whatever you think are your favourite ROM hacking tools for any console or game. Perhaps also generic file editing utilities too such as hex editors and debuggers.
I always found Lunar Magic was nice to use. Really well-polished especially for things like documentation which is usually lacking in RH editors. Another cool thing was the SMB3 Workshop tool, which I only experimented a little with, but seemed like quite nice of an editor. Note that I never really bothered to make anything serious, just played around a bit; hopefully more seasoned scene members can input. |

Hex editing tools, since they are universal. ____________________ ~XAIXER |

HxD and XVI32 are the best, imo. ____________________ ~XAIXER |

Lunar Magic. Can't think of a more straghtforwardly-designed ROM hacking tool that even an idiot like me could pick up |
