Are you interested in designing SMB3 levels on SMB3 Workshop?

Do you have any scrap levels that you're willing to share?

Did you abandon an SMB3 hack but need a home for those levels you created?

If you're kind enough to share your levels and work with me to polish them, your efforts will not go unnoticed and you'll receive full credit. Give me a PM if you're interested and I'll give you more details, OR join us on Discord to work with us on the latest updates!

SMB3 Project Discord

We have an amazing team right now including Koopa, Bluecrush, The Dark Warrior, Insectuel, Zacmario, Googie and VHR2121. We're hoping for a November 2019 release. I'm heading the project along with Mari42 helping me out. If you're interested, come join us, even if it's a small contribution!

Not sure if you remember my last project, A New Journey, but this project is basically the same format and premise...

...8 completely different worlds for Mario to explore, though some big differences....

-This game will be easier. The difficulty should be on par with the original SMB3 if not a tad more challenging.

-We are composing all new music for levels and over-worlds!

We're working hard to meet that deadline. Any suggestions or input? Let me know! Thanks.

Be back soon for more updates!!

I have a few Mario 3 hacks on me from over the years people abandoned. I'll pass them to you from email, if anything also I can poke at a few levels too, probably three levels the most.

Thank you, Googie! I'd love to see your work! Even if some levels are not finished, we could polish them up for you! My email is

We're also on Discord if you're interested.

As far as making levels, we'll hook you up! Take a look at our spreadsheet and let us know which levels may interest you. You can make it on a separate ROM and send an M3L our way or I can send a ROM with our graphics (even though it wont show up correctly on SMB3 Workshop.) Either way, it's great to have you aboard!

I've been porting SMB3 levels to Mario All-Stars for years even some of A New Journey's levels. Sometimes I design my original SMB3SMAS levels for showcase. I was in the SMB3 community including level designing for more than 13 years. I can probably give you some of my levels I'm not using from my previous projects or design some originality.

As a matter of fact, I may E-mail you my level that is based on SMA4's e-Reader level + Frank's 2nd SMB3 hack style to be used but feel free to use it.
(Sorry, I am not into this forum's private messaging since I am not active here!)
