Because google isn't helping much.
So uh, I have a few questions about Acmlmboard and other crap. I hope this is the right section. 1. How do you even get 1.92.08 to work? Looks like the installer is broken.. or does anyone have a version with a working installer? Or should I use 1.92 as opposed to that? If so, does anyone have a download for it? I couldn't find it anywhere. 2. If attempting to use 1.92.08 is a bad idea do to my limited PHP skills, is there a download for 2.1 that I could use anywhere? Couldn't find that, either. Thanks in advance, and I may have more questions later |

Anything before 2.0 is complete crap, don't waste your time.
The bitbucket releases for AB2 should have the 2.1 download ____________________ Jamie Dignam |

Alright, I decided I might as well use 2.5.3.
However, I can't figure out how to load the main.sql into the database... :l |

okay well I figured how to load crap into the database
however it won't let me log in, and I think I loaded literally everything whatever. i'll ask it again: where are the downloads for 1.92? i'm not gonna make a serious board for it, but i'm just gonna mess around with it. |

Posted by cderp4 Pretty sure AcmlmBoard 1.92 installer was always fucked I think you have to configure it manually anyway Also from the I3 FAQ - How can I get a AcmlmBoard? Well ... there is no released copy of it that can be downloaded, so the only way you can get one is by getting a copy from someone who has it. Also, the latest distributed version is 1.8, and the current version isn't in a distributable state (some beta versions have been given but they're exceptional cases). You may have a better chance of getting a copy if you aren't some random newcomer who comes just to ask for the board; many requests stay ignored. Also, if you ever get a copy, keep in mind you need some place to run it on, and need support for PHP and MySQL. AcmlmBoard doesn't have an admin control panel either, so you may be screwed if you don't know how to mess around with the .php files to configure a few things, and MySQL database managing software (such as PHPMyAdmin) can be very useful. --> Xeogaming have a modified version of AB1.92 Yushe might be able to give it to you he has a copy somewhere. Ask him on Twitter @Yusheec ____________________ Jamie Dignam |

Where would I find those alphas?
I heard that 2.0a1 was leaked by Arbe (which Mega-Mario uses), but apparently it's nowhere to be found. |

What hosts work with AcmlmBoard?
Because OVH plays up with the software (2.5.2) for some odd reason, it glitches up. xK_ can confirm. ____________________ Jamie Dignam |

Why even bother with AB2.5, though? It's dead. |

Posted by Nightmare Fredbear So are the rest of the Acmlm softwares, just because a product is inactive or legacy doesn't mean it's bad. x) I currently use Blargboard which is likely more secure since it isn't got any based old code, unless you count the earliest versions of ABXD, though 2.2.6 ABXD is probably the most secure solution. ____________________ Jamie Dignam |

Posted by SledgeBrother1 Luna would actually be way better for security, he's literally a PHP god, despite being 16 years old. ____________________ Jamie Dignam |

Posted by SledgeBrother1 man you think you're clever but not knowing how to say my name in public is probably a problem btw, that has nothing to do with this thread. take it somewhere else, please. |
