I'll give it a run later on then, however your main sprite looks like you've pulled from dick tracy.
Also your main screen character lacks, atleast give the character some more detail. Alot of the work you offer lacks graphical detail, no I am not trolling you. No I am not trying to make you feel bad or make you look bad, but atleast give your work some better details and improvements. If you would do that and since your trying to sell, your games would sell more quickly. |

They look nothing alike, and are clearly different sizes. That post was also made after I just made a post about giving a free copy of the game for free to celebrate my 100th repro sold, so he obviously can't read either. I don't need advice from this guy. The sad thing is, I'm pretty sure this guy is an admin on romhacking.net, maybe even on here as well. I'd run circles around this guy as an admin, but I think I'll stick to actually contributing to the community. Maybe he should go study more rom hacks, as he clearly doesn't know what he's doing. |

Like the others, its a pleasure seeing your hacks, but somewhat pissed b/c there's no chance of playing it without paying for it. You can say sell your hacks to ones who have nostagia consoles, fine, noone's gonna report you for doing it. If there are patches for those pay-to-play hacks, thanks for those and prolly noone will mock you. ____________________  |

ROMhacking itself is downright illegal but we do it anyway.
I've always been a pragmatist about all this stuff. ROMhacking is technically illegal in any sense, as is creating repro carts. We ROMhack for fun. But creating a repro is not the same and I can see someone charging for their time and labor in making one. That said, the ROMhack itself should always be made available since that part of it should not be sold under any circumstances and price variance should only come from the difficulty or ease of creating the physical cart. People whining about the creation of repros is stupid, it's not your problem. If you don't agree with it don't support it. Let others do as they will as long as it doesn't affect you. That said, I have seen pacnsacdave "release" lots of hacks, but sometimes not bother to make an IPS for any of them right away. I find this somewhat bothersome. It doesn't take but a few minutes to create a patch and post it. However, I honestly never found many of his hacks particularly interesting or desirable, so it's no skin off my back. But in his defense he has contributed quite a bit to ROMhacking. Not just by releasing hacks, but also a number of translations as well. |

ROM hacking is a grey area as long as you don't try to get profit from it. However, pacnsacdave DOES try to get profit from his hacks, and the franchises on which his hacks are based on don't belong to him either. Thus, what he does is ILLEGAL, and I WILL report him, no matter what! EDIT: Damn, I need to sign up in order to report it to the site itself! Welp, looks like I really need to report to the FBI after all... |

WOULD YOU STOP ALREADY? You guys are annoying. If I was an admin here, I would have IP banned all of you by now.
And do you really think FBI would care? By the way, do you know how expensive is that uh... stuff that let's you put ROMs on a cartridge, how expensive the case is, how expensive is the printing? Do you know how much time is it to make a cartridge and other stuff? Do you really think he has that much profit from this? I am disappointed in all of you... What if pac would release the free digital copy of the games uhh... 1-3 years after the physical one? Would that solve this for you guys? Repro collectors would still buy the cartridges... and you would get your games too, much later. Emulators for example, are like this. You don't have a PS3? You don't have the money for it? You will be able to play them for free* (*Internet connection, electricity and stuff) much later. |
